Hello, thanks a lot but I am not luxembourgish I just live here from 2,5 years 🙈
When ever you rent or buy accommodation location is always a key and such a daunting task! Always nice to be in the know! :)
Thanks a lot for your comment!
Thanks for your video! I needed a review like this since I am choosing flats 😊

hi magda, Thank you,
You're welcome 😊
Hello, Magda!
Thank you for the video 🧡
Next two months I`m moving to Lux... and I`m really afraid of finding a flat. I can not enjoy the process of changing life, preparing documents etc, because I`m nervous! It is really awful.. 😿
Hello! Thanks for commenting and good luck! I'm sure it's gonna be all good 🤞😊
Hi Magda, keep up the great content. Just a clarification, as a third country national I am suppose to register my arrival at the commune at within 3 days. I will be hiring a temporary flat for around 10 days for this purpose. Can you advise how I can let the commune know of the change in address once I settle in a permanent flat ? TIA
I honestly don't know but if you go to municipality for sure they'll tell you!
Where do you reccomend me to live if I will work in Kirchberg? I am a 20 years old student
intersted im moving soon thank you for the information Magda 💖💖💖💖💖💖✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨👈👈
You’re welcome 😊
Please can you talk about school, payment like child benefit, unemployed benefits, medical card etc..
Hello, first two will be difficult because I don't have kids, about unemployment I'm planning to make a video and the medical card I already mentioned in videos about CNS which is public health insurance here in Lux
Hello Magda, I am moving to Luxembourg in 1st of September as i got a PhD salaried position in university of Luxembourg, just the issue is that there are no places in the dorms. How i can find an apartment? Where to look i mean applications or websites if u know any. Much appreciated
Hello, first of all congrats! Second, I have a playlist called renting in Lux and you'll find few videos about how, where and what too look out for when looking for a flat in Lux, I'm sure it's gonna help you ☺️ if you still have questions feel free to contact me here or in whatever other mode it's the best for you 💪
Hi Magda, between Merl and Grund what would be your choice? We are finance professionals in late 30’s. Thank you.
Hello! Depends where is your office and how often you have to go there, therefore the connection to the office and also Merl has more light than Grund because Grund is in valley of the city also the prices may vary, about Grund I don't recommend talking a ground/first floor because I'm 2020 during summer it was all flooded and we hope it won't happen again but you never know. But for example Grund is closer to bars and city center if that's important to you 😌
@@ByMagdaYT Thank you so much Magda. I will go wih Merl. My office is in BelAir, and I will go 3 times per week..
@@milosmilic8901 so yes it makes much more sense then ☺️ good luck!
What about hotel restaurants jobs .Are they available.
I'm sure you can find something but it may require languages popular here (French and German or maybe even Luxembourgish)plus English
What website can I check for rentals?
Hello, I have few videos about finding a house here and in one of them I share the list so You have to check it out because I don't have it with me and I won't have access to it in next days, sorry 🙈
Please 🙏 tell me what area is good for a family and good price for accommodation. Am planning to move in Luxembourg with my kids
I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it in this or other video about where to live in Lux 😌
Most of Luxembourg is family friendly, especially outside of the city. In the city itself, as Magda rightly, said, avoid Gare and some parts of Hollerich and Bonnevoie. All the other areas are very family friendly. As for the prices, you need to define "good price" 😅 sadly all of Luxembourg has very high prices for housing!
@@leobri6133 thanks for sharing! I agree with you ☺️
Thank you for the information and i hope if you please speak a little bit slowly so everyone can understand.
Hello, you're welcome 😌 all my video have subtitles and also there is an option on yt to adjust the speed so you can always slow them down 😌
@@ByMagdaYT yes i put on normal and still fast. I mean these information is for foreigners like me and most don't understand good English so we hardly understand if someone speaks so quickly. Anyway thank you so much for your efforts. Please accept my greetings from Egypt 🌱🌱
@@imaneyehia9833 yes I know that's why I said adjust it to slower and put subtitles it should help 😅

The big question is: how to go out but keep it on the budget?
You have to know where to go out 😉
👍🌹👍
Thanks a lot for the support!
I am looking form one year I can't find !!!
Ohh no I'm so sorry :c
@@ByMagdaYT I will find 👆💪
@@rauollsb9245 good luck!
Hamm is fine! You've got the buses 9 and 15, plus you can walk along the river! Cents / Neudorf is boring! Gare is horrible - especially the Rue du Strasbourg. Lots of drug dealers and prostitues! I like the Place de Paris / Paraisser Plaz. My favourite coffee shop is coffee fellows, and I like to shop at Monoprix round the corner. Sometimes I get the tram up to the big Auchan at Alphonse Weicker!
Thanks for you comment!
What about Schieren?
I've never heard of that but it all depends where you work, there is a train to Lux city - Google says it takes 47 min so another thing to consider is if you wanna commute for about 2h a day if you're gonna work in Lux city. Idk how are the prices over there, I can try to check it out in future videos
@@ByMagdaYT Is Kirchberg a safe area?
@@jamesgr111 yes but of course you can't walk blindly in the middle of the night expecting nothing will ever happen. In Lux as I said only more dangerous zone is Gare
@@ByMagdaYT Thank you so much for your response. I am living in Berlin and we think of relocating to Lux. Berlin of course is a much much bigger city but we never had a fear in our area
@@jamesgr111 then I'm pretty sure Lux won't be scrying you either ☺️
Maybe someone looking for a roommate in Luxembourg or in neiberhood, text me please, I need place to stay
I'll let you know if I know of someone for now nobody - it's quite difficult here to find something 🙈
@@ByMagdaYT thanks a lot!

Greetings dear from Ghana
Just don’t...it’s depressing and racist. But if you do, try Sandweiller, Bereldange or nidahanven. They are outside of the city, but hey, public transport is free😳😱🥰
DONT stay in the city...please, it’s depressing and grey....
Lived in the apartment block next to the Hilton in Dommeldange, older building but great place, even a swinging pool and sauna, on site as well as a tiny bar and a shop. Parking a car can be a pain where you live, so think of renting a garage? Certainly for me, it was so much better, more expensive but certainly worth it when parking is a premium. Top tip for vehicle owners, the annual vehicle test is mandatory and state run by only two controll centres, expect lengthy waiting times and if you purchase a second hand car or motorcycle it HAS to re tested when you purchase it, regardless of when it was last tested....and god forbid it fails....your not permitted to drive it away 😳😱😖😖🤔 Lux is a lovely but wierd place.
Do ALOT of research then do some more before moving there, it’s not all good....
Thank you for sharing your experience, that's very useful (mostly because it's different than mine so can show up how different people see things differently)!
wtf are you talking about?
About where I think you can live in Lux
