    Mr. Ioannis Apokatanidis, You are correct describing which side B1 was on . B1 is on the Drivers side of the car. B2 is on the Passenger side of the car. Mr. Mayowa Odus may have been referring to an older version of information from "TSB No. EG034-07" . One must read the "TSB SUPERSESSION NOTICE" on page 1 of 7. TSB No. EG034-07 is Obsolete and any printed versions should be discarded. Be sure to review
    the entire content of this service bulletin before proceeding. Thank for your fine video showing how to install a timing belt. Refer to figure 1. on page 4 of 7 from the link below from Mr. Apokatanidis.

    I have a 2006 4.7 v8 4runner and I'm getting codes 340 and 345. My truck won't start, it just makes a loud click. Is it the sensors in bank one and two or is it that the timing is off and if so how do you know if it's off and how do you know where each timing wheel should be when lining it up with tap dead center?

      Check timing belt, alignment and the harness of the sensors...

    Mr. loannis you have great videos on the 2uzfe 4.7 I had to do both head gaskets on the driver's side head lol the 2 cam gear I turned the crank to the pin for on the oil pump then turned the cam to put the special bolt in the exhaust gear with the 2 dots on each side lining up. At this point if I put my cam sprocket on the mark is at 6 like on a clock is this rite???? Then when I put it back together should I turn the gear so the notch is back at 12:00 right I am trying to explain it the best I can let me know if you have another video on my problem please. thank you for making great videos.god bless

    Does the driver side marking ever line up directly like the passenger side marking? Hard to tell on the video but it appears it is still a half tooth off.

      Actually when the tensioner is tensioning the belt everything coming on marks...
      Is exactly how they are they given you instructions from technical manual.
      Thanks for your comment.

      This way is for 2uz-fe engine with vvti system.
      My pleasure....

    Only for 2005 and 2006 NOT for 2004 and below

    • @Apokatan.autotech
      @Apokatan.autotech  Před 3 lety +1

      Only for 2uz-fe with vvti.
      The simple 2uz-fe is almost the same.
      This one is exactly how the repair manual describes the way for vvti 2uz-fe.

    This works for the 4.3 3UZ?

    • @Apokatan.autotech
      @Apokatan.autotech  Před 2 lety

      Is the same type just 4.3L 2uz-fe is 4.7L.
      Like 1ur-fe and 3ur-fe they have same way of timing.
      Exist and 2uz-fe without vvti.
      Since yours has vvti is same.

    Facing the engine with your back of your body in front of the engine The right bank is the bank1 while your left is the bank2 you committed a blunder there

      Probably you confuse the type of engine.
      1GR-FE and 5VZ-FE are like you described.

    • @Apokatan.autotech
      @Apokatan.autotech  Před 5 lety +1

      And one more information, if I committed blunder as you said according the repair manual the alignment timing marks would not automatically align with the release of the tensioner.
