It could be her fox ears, but I always suspected that she understood his predicament and simply used the delusional card (a fact about the scales) in order to quickly quell the situation. Remember that often times, adventurer guilds aren't so keen on morality. But declaring your the world's calamity can create a lot of chaos.
It's weird to me that so many protagonist characters, even villains like this one, are so openly willing to being absolutely hammered with questions. I'd get annoyed so fast if I got in a fight and then was instantly questioned by four separate people.
I imagine Valt being voiced by Aleks Le (Anos Voldigoad from Misfits of Demon King Academy) and Ricka voiced by Lindsay Seidel (Sizilien from Wise Man's Grandchild)
I love how he keeps killing things with his bare hands and people keep freaking out about it. I'm currently playing as a Monk in Baldur's Gate 3 and my damage is insane so I'm finding this quite humorous right now.

I can recall one game where both the hero and the demon king knew each other before they got summoned and decided on a mutual kill because they are tired of the same routine over and over again. The fucking goddess of reincarnation ruined their "vacation" in afterlife though. And forced them to go back to work, so they agreed to cheat the system and swap roles.
I don’t get where all his malice and cruelty went. Like, he isn't reborn as a baby, no human took care of him or something, why the complete 180? Why wouldn't he spawn already killing people left and right if he was so evil and his last memories were him fighting in a war
