    That is a beautiful set and such a special thing to do. I'm sure there are not many people who can say their wedding rings are made by their brother. Awesome work.

      Nice one man! I hope all is going well over there? This past two months have been a bit quiet but I have a lot of admin/video stuff to get on with 😂

      @@ZebranoWoodCraft Yeah it has been a bit more quiet than normal for me too. I’m getting more custom projects which I like though! I’m trying to get back to a more consistent upload schedule which should help sales a bit. I always look forward to your videos!

    You know with the CA finish without using a accelerator and the heat gun be use to dry the CA? Not sure if you tried it or not but I thought I'd asked 🤔

    Brilliant video and absolutely stunning rings as always. Perfectly masculine and feminine rings together.

      Thank you! I was a little worried the abalone one would be a bit too masculine but she loves it thankfully hahaha

      It captures strength and beauty perfectly. Looks like the type of ring Athena would wear.

    Really enjoyed the video, great work! I love the wood grain in steel look, it's wonderful, really well used material. I was wondering about the gold and steel joint, is it just a really good friction fit? Might that seperate if the metals are in a situation where they heat and grow/ freeze and shrink?

    • @ZebranoWoodCraft
      @ZebranoWoodCraft  Před 2 lety

      Thank you! I’ve never seen one come appart as they are wedged together pretty hard.
      You could slightly chamfer the inside edges of the steel and then hammer the gold around it if you wanted to be really sure!

      @@ZebranoWoodCraft Fair enough, that sounds good. They turned out beautiful, well done!

    Hey you don’t solder the inner gold band to the outer stainless steel band? Is it only held by pressure??

    Hi, what was the thickness of the gold sheet you purchased ?

    Another great video buddy! I am looking to get myself a lathe for ring and pen turning. What type of lathe would you recommend? I've been looking at Machine Mart, but nothing really 'jumps out' at me.
    Keep creating!

    Hi buddy, new to you channel, can I ask, when you etch the damascus, the rose gold looks like a bright orange, is that something you have covered it with for the etching process or is that just what happens to it during the etching? Great work by the way, these look amazing!

    • @ZebranoWoodCraft
      @ZebranoWoodCraft  Před 2 lety

      Hey mate, yeah sometimes I put electrical tape on the inside of the ring while I etch the steel. The acid doesn’t effect gold so this is probably a pointless step 😂

  • @Madmuttonbird

    Geday fella awesome vid. I noticed you put your brothers ring in a rubber holder on the lathe, does that company have a website to purchase these " Finger Savers " ?
