    Tabata Songs creates music that matches the exact timing of the Tabata Protocol.
    What is the Tabata Protocol? Twenty seconds of sprint/work, ten second rest, for four straight minutes. Tabata music lets you focus on your workout, rather than think about having to look at your watch or a timer.
    Tabata Training began in the mid 1990's. Japanese fitness researcher Dr Izumi Tabata created a HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout, using this very method. Dr Tabata proved the tabata method to draw heavily from both the aerobic and anaerobic systems, unlike most conventional workouts, which tend heavily favor one or the other.
    The Tabata Interval has gained a lot of recognition throughout the Crossfit community, running community, and health clubs across the globe, for its versatility, adaptability, and positive results.
    The Tabata Interval Method has proven to maximize VO2 max, while also building endurance, burning fat, and retaining muscle. Though the Tabata was not designed as a fat loss or weight loss program, it has gained a lot of recent attention in response to tabatas ability to speed up the metabolism and burn fat.

      TABATA training has been around WAY longer than Crossfit.
      Dimitri is a world class weightlifter extremely proficient in Olympic Lifting. He is combining the two, lifting weights WAY lighter than his maximums but instead maxing out in intensity to concentrate in 'cardiovascular' training, as he puts it.
      Maybe the reference to Crossfit is a bit misleading but I guess these days any high intensity training with Olympic lifting elements is tagged as 'crossfit'.
      Truth is, crossfit is getting undeserved props as this is next level stuff done by a PROPER athlete,. Not ONE shit, forced rep here. Yes he is training at near max intensity but he's truly good enough to maintain good form. he is not going to jeopardise himself and his true calling (world class Olympic Weightlifter) for a few more reps done with crap form!!!
      Respect......

      Jokk3asd Dangerous meaning is if you're not careful with how you land the bar, the grains in the middle of the barbell could seriously scrape off some skin or worse, the bar hits the bone directly instead of landing on soft trapezius tissue where the muscle is supposed to be cushion

    On the Klokov Press my advice to the audience..........when you descend lower the bar slowly and or give with the legs. He has the experience and the musculature to let the bar drop on his back like that. I hope he would even consider slowing it down. I am a 52 year old former collegiate athlete and my life as an enthused lifter was halted because I was careless one day when I was 21 years old. I did a warm-up set of 10 reps with 185 lbs on the box squat. I did the set too fast because it was easy and I got overconfident. As a result I got a spine compression injury on my right side from time to time affecting the sciatic nerve. Everything from chiropractor to accupuncture did not work long term. I had to resort to a bag of tricks including sleeping on the floor some. When I go over speed bumps I have to tighten my abs so I won't feel my back. I am affected to this day and lost something I was passionate about because I was careless. I am communicating this to y'all so hopefully you will not take take anything for granted and use good safe technique. God bless

      +Lisai Yin He doesn't have the engine for it. He is much stronger than the strongest games athletes but he cant keep up with them in any endurance work.

      +Yoseif Schwarz yeah, but he´s not too old to convert his build. I guess it would take him less than a year to get to it.

    • @yoseifschwarz3132
      @yoseifschwarz3132 Před 8 lety

      I actually wonder about that. There is no doubt that he is a world class athlete but when you consider that he was a silver medalist with the Russian Olympic team, you have to assume that he has been training in his current discipline for most of his life. While we look at him and see a physical freak, I wonder if he really could convert from an explosive strength athlete to one who is a hybrid of strength and endurance.
