X JAPAN YOSHIKI SCOPES OUT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN FOR OCTOBER CONCERT, RECALLS AMERICAN ARRIVAL

Yoshiki recalled X Japan's arrival in the United States nearly 22 years ago, and talks about touring Madison Square Garden this week in preparation for their October 11 show at the world's most famous arena.

Maybe before their big concert at the World's Most Famous Venue of Madison Square Garden, they might see a preseason New York Knicks game. Yoshiki and the others might meet with Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and have courtside seats like every other celebrity that comes to the Mecca of MSG. Then on October 11, they're gonna rock the Garden. All the stuff X Japan has gone through for over 30 plus years, unknowns, disbandment, their friend Hide passing away of apparent suicide, just like Robin Williams. Then reuniting back in 2009 and touring all over the world and it feels like they were born again. And now, for the first time, they're gonna perform at the Garden in New York. They've performed at the Tokyo Dome in their first breakup on December 31, 1997.
