Maybe a consequence of him going blind?
I've always had that phenomenon where you sometimes see a flash of light in your peripheral vision, but mine's most likely due to my poor vision and when I strain my eyes too much

Some fluorescent bulbs tend to flash periodically for some hours after they're turned off, and it becomes more frequent when they're about to expire. I've had some of those bulbs in my house and it was annoying as hell, made me change all the bulbs after a few months.
Seeing a flickering light, on the other hand, can be either a sign of an incoming migraine or that your blood pressure is spiking.

I love how quiet and chill James is. It is a complete contrast to Achievement Hunter. He is hilarious and I'd love to see him in more AH content

The first ten minutes of this had me dying
My dad had the same symptoms of bright flashes in one specific place in his eye. He had a tear in his retina but he had surgery and after a week of quiet was able to recover. Spam this message and get Gavin to go to an eye doctor.
This was really fucking funny. Having James question Gavin with such bewilderment.
The interaction between Gavin and James is incredible. Pure comedy gold :D

Wait a minute...
There's a guy named Steve Austin, but he's not the wrestler Steve Austin they just have the same name. Yet he's also essentially South Africa's Steve Irwin. But at the same time, he's very big on messing with snakes more than anything, and in fact the video they showed was him messing with a rattle snake.
So the guy has the same first name of a guy with a similar job, but not only that, his name is Steve Austin who plays with Rattlesnakes, but he's not "The Texas Rattlesnake" Steve Austin, he's just regular Steve Austin....
So like... My mind is absolutely blown by the level of pure coincidence that went into this entire idea...

I loved this podcast. I felt like the range of people from different backgrounds made the difference in perspectives really interesting but also the fact that another English guy is looking at gavin like wtf do you mean makes gavin seem even more like an outlier which I found hilarious. Top stuff guys!
