2:46 someone finally noticed how Ringo’s picture looks off-center as hell in the original cover art and corrected it lol
And they live on. This is why we loved them. Makes me kind of sad though.
Hopefully, this release will finally enable both the fans and the surviving Beatles to just “Let It Be.”
It’s so amazing how modern technology has affected our perception of things. The package that Peter Jackson put together was totally mind blowing and greatly appreciated by millions. Good job.👍😁🙋♂️
Hard to believe the film was shot 55 years ago.
Love it!
How a band breaks up in 90 minutes. The difference in atmosphere between Twickenham and Apple is night and day.
I’ve had a copy from the original Magnetic laserdisc for years. Home video was double cropped (original 4x3 full frame 16mm to cropped 35mm theatrical to further cropped 4x3 for home video - you can tell by the opening and closing text credit sequences).
Honestly I hope Jackson didn’t crop this one at all
@@perrywcliftonHe said he wouldn’t touch that exact footage except to restore it.
@@darthkurland Hell yes. Letterboxing is betterboxing
ME ECANTARA VERLA DE NUEVO.GRACIAS
¡Ningún problema! ¡Espero que veas la película!
It may be however it's historical very important. It is sad to see the tention building
I want a copy of Let It Be to go with the other official released movies. I went to see it when it first came out. Yes it was depressing in some ways but the music is timeless.
Changed the choice of solos - one for the nerds - like me…
James Paul McCartney died in car crash on September 11 1966 and was replaced by William (Billy). This is the truth no matter what!
I always found the film to be such an anti climax, dark and depressing
It has moments that are great. But yeah hard to enjoy. A bitter time for them and us.
@@Stonecutter334Yes The Rooftop performance and other full songs...and a few quips.
The voiceover
Same voice
Trying TOO HARD to be hip
in both versions
In 2024
it doesn’t mention that
The Beatles were “rapping”
like it did in 1970
In 1970, you could say that
The Beatles were “rapping”
it meant they were “talking”, man…
But not in 2024, cos, yo…
y’know…ain’t no hip hop mofo
He's saying "wrapping". As in finishing a song. What happens after recording and before relaxing.
@@benjidubs826
HOW could I MISSED that “W”?
😂
How does a voice sound “hip,” or “too hip?” Does it ever sound “femur?”
@@taddallman-morton6796
One thing is sure
They’re all high
on T
You could say “THigh”, even
T-bone
Get Back rendered this poorly edited thing irrelevant. A cash grab ploy by Disney(the Monsanto of the entertainment industry), and why put any more money into Yuko's bank account.
Incorrect, bud! Peter Jackson always intended for the Let It Be film to co-exist, which is why apart from the Rooftop, there's no full music performances in Get Back. If anything identical appeared in GB, they were mostly from another camera angle anyway. Also, Disney never had a hand in the production, they're merely using the Beatles to try and entice people to get back on their streaming service...
Her name is spelled YOKO NOT YUKO shows how much attention you have
Nothing happens with the Beatles unless Paul & Ringo want it to. Both in their 80's now so probably trying to put their legacy in the best possible condition for posterity.
restoring and preserving history is only a good thing, regardless how you feel about the original movie and how it was handled. they simply just restored it and maintained it to exist forever in a better form now.
