In the 86th episode of #WalkAMileWithSeth, I gather with my friends: Ali accompanied by her daughter, Ellie, and Blondie with her loyal companion, Milhouse, at Spokane's Mystic Falls Trailhead on February 24, 2024, precisely at Mile 7,773 plus 189.
Our journey unfolds with a mile-long hike around and through the enchanting Indian Canyon. Despite Ellie's initial trepidation navigating the steep and rugged terrain, her courage shines through as we descend into the canyon, culminating in the breathtaking sight of Mystic Falls.
Discovering this hidden oasis just beyond the city limits doesn’t fail to astonish my companions.
It's a recurring delight during these mile walks to hear my friends/guests/challenge takers exclaim, "I’ve lived here for years/all my life and never knew this existed!"
Adding to the enchantment, we encounter daredevils executing breathtaking flips on a slack line suspended high above the canyon and waterfall. As our walk concludes, we express our gratitude to Kara Ratcliff and Slacklines Spokane for sprinkling an extra dose of magic onto our hike.
