SHERLOCK: Sorry about dinner.
This episode showed the kind of connection between two people that is beyond physical bond - without a single touch a psychosomatic ‘Love’ can flourish. I am talking about the connection between Great Sherlock Holmes and The WOMEN.
there was literally one flaw to this song. it was too short. you made this song absolutely flawless. I'm not joking when I say this song makes me cry every single time. And God I listen to it on a loop for hours.
This is the most perfect music to go with this episode. I've always loved music and especially dramatic ones such as this one!!! I cannot explain how it makes my heart soar with each crescendo. The affect of the quiet violins toward the end..... Just beautiful!!! Well done David Arnold and Michael Price!!!!!!
At the end of the episode it hurt so much I cried..... Half because of Irene's 'departure' and mad love for Sherlock she couldn't withstand keeping it secret so she made him her passcode and the other half seeing sherlock heartbroken. If you don't believe me that he is hurt, go and watch the episode and look at the pain in his eyes...
He laughed while he was saying "The Woman" He saved her life, how the hell is he hurt? She could come back, it is a possibility but I don't think it'll happen. Sure as hell hope it does happen.
One of the most influential music my ears has ever heard that it make me quick easy vulnerable to the point where I like the sadness at the moment to get and let everything out either with regrets and thoughts or tears its just makes it easier.
Something subtle happens after this scene. Sherlock later BEGS* John to give him Irene's phone just before the scene where he saves her. He said, "Please...." TWICE. It just shows how much Sherlock really cares about Irene Adler and how much he's grown emotionally since the start of the series.
"When we first met. You told me that disguise is always a self portrait, how true of you, the combination of your safe? Your measurements. But this? This is far more intimate, this is your heart, and you should never let it ruin your head. Ive always assumed that love is a dangerous disadvantage. Thank you for the final proof.." "Everything i said... It wasn't real. I was just playing the game." "I know, and that us just losing...."
I can watch this episode ending million times dialogue like And this is just losing. scene like good bye sherlock it's a best serial i ever watched IT'S just a master piece
I think the moment Ben as Sherlock cracked her screen lock with #IAMSHERLOCKED.. It drove me completely mad in love with his Sherlock & set in stone my addiction to one Benedict flippin' Cumberbatch!
After all these years, l still find it the best episode. There were so many emotions that l experienced all at once and l am sure everybody else did too. I wish l could watch the episode without knowing the ending!! How l wish it!

Yay! I'm so glad I found someone that relates! lol
Haha yes
Christine victoria aas No.
Yep! But it's not a problem for me 😁
ARGH
MYCROFT: You’ve been very ... thorough.
I wish our lot were half as good as you.
IRENE: I can’t take all the
credit. Had a bit of help.
IRENE: Oh, Jim Moriarty sends his love.
MYCROFT: Yes, he’s been in touch.
Seems desperate for my attention ...
... which I’m sure can be arranged.
IRENE: I had all this stuff, never knew
what to do with it. Thank God for the
consultant criminal. Gave me a lot of
advice about how to play the Holmes
boys. D’you know what he calls you?
(Softly) The Ice Man ... (she looks
across to Sherlock) ... and the Virgin.
IRENE: Didn’t even ask for anything.
I think he just likes to cause
trouble. Now that’s my kind of man.
MYCROFT: And here you are,
the dominatrix who brought
a nation to its knees.
MYCROFT: Nicely played.
SHERLOCK: No.
IRENE: Sorry?
SHERLOCK: I said no.
Very very close, but no.
SHERLOCK: You got carried away.
The game was too elaborate. You
were enjoying yourself too much.
IRENE: No such thing as too much.
SHERLOCK: Oh, enjoying
the thrill of the chase is fine,
craving the distraction of the
game - I sympathise entirely - but
sentiment? Sentiment is a chemical
defect found in the losing side.
IRENE: Sentiment? What
are you talking about?
SHERLOCK: You.
IRENE (smiling calmly): Oh dear God.
Look at the poor man. You don’t
actually think I was interested
in you? Why? Because you’re the
great Sherlock Holmes, the clever
detective in the funny hat?
SHERLOCK (softly): No.
SHERLOCK (in a whisper):
Because I took your pulse.
SHERLOCK (softly into her ear):
Elevated; your pupils dilated.
SHERLOCK (in a more normal voice): I
imagine John Watson thinks love’s a
mystery to me but the chemistry is
incredibly simple, and very destructive.
SHERLOCK: When we first met, you
told me that disguise is always a
self-portrait. How true of you: the
combination to your safe - your
measurements; but this ...
... this is far more intimate.
SHERLOCK: This is your heart ...
SHERLOCK: ... and you should
never let it rule your head.
SHERLOCK: You could have
chosen any random number and
walked out of here today with
everything you’ve worked for ...
SHERLOCK: ... but you just
couldn’t resist it, could you?
SHERLOCK: I’ve always assumed that
love is a dangerous disadvantage ...
SHERLOCK: Thank you for the final proof.
IRENE (softly): Everything I said:
it’s not real. (In a whisper)
I was just playing the game.
SHERLOCK (in a whisper): I know.
SHERLOCK: And this is just losing.
SHERLOCK (his eyes still fixed
on Irene’s): There you are,
brother. I hope the contents
make up for any inconvenience
I may have caused you tonight.
MYCROFT: I’m certain they will.
SHERLOCK: If you’re feeling
kind, lock her up; otherwise let
her go. I doubt she’ll survive
long without her protection.
IRENE: Are you expecting me to beg?
SHERLOCK (flatly, calmly): Yes.
IRENE: Please.
IRENE: You’re right.
I won’t even last six months.
SHERLOCK: Sorry about dinner.
Beautiful!
Beautiful.....
I read each line just the way they spoke. It's imprinted on my mind.
"Sentiment is a chemical defect found in the losing side"
don't let your heart rule your head
This episode showed the kind of connection between two people that is beyond physical bond - without a single touch a psychosomatic ‘Love’ can flourish.
I am talking about the connection between Great Sherlock Holmes and The WOMEN.
Passion, erotic ness, love, loss, sadness , happiness That is all I feel when i listen to this piece. Which I think Sherlock felt all the episode
you forget...the funny irony.
the bitter and sweetness in the melody.
The ending was spectacular... by the brilliance of the two composers.
I AM
*SHER*
LOCKED
My second favorite scene to this amazing season.
What's the first?
@@darthplagueis4626 You're me
I could listen to this theme all day.
Can't stop listening to it. Between 3:06 and 3:11, it doesn't fail to give me the chills.
I've always assumed that love is dangerous disadvantage, thank you for the final proof.
listening while studying and crying at the same time. what a life!
Why have I just started this series now?! Gonna be all caught up in less than 24 hours tho
it's never too late!!!
I started about 2-3 months ago 😂
"No, not Bach. You clearly don't undestand it. Play you."
"Me?"
"You."
Ferruch16 "what might we deduce about his heart?"
Ferruch16 I fangirled completely when he played this. What a nod to the Adlock ship.

Who's here in 2022, appreciating this masterpiece?
Meee!!!
there was literally one flaw to this song. it was too short. you made this song absolutely flawless. I'm not joking when I say this song makes me cry every single time. And God I listen to it on a loop for hours.
my heart always speeds up when I listen to this masterpiece.
This is so beautiful. Why am I crying?
While I am listening this soundtrack, I always remember the dialogues. And repeat them in my mind.
He laughed while he was saying "The Woman"
He saved her life, how the hell is he hurt?
She could come back, it is a possibility but I don't think it'll happen. Sure as hell hope it does happen.
He knows that he'll have to keep Irene a secret.
My favorite episode! Loved Irene, loved her chemistry with Sherlock.
One of the most influential music my ears has ever heard that it make me quick easy vulnerable to the point where I like the sadness at the moment to get and let everything out either with regrets and thoughts or tears its just makes it easier.
'A sportsman recently returned from foreign travel with... A boomerang.'
'You got that from one look, definitely the new sexy'
"Why I say run-Run." I think cried all over again when that happened.
Something subtle happens after this scene. Sherlock later BEGS* John to give him Irene's phone just before the scene where he saves her. He said, "Please...." TWICE. It just shows how much Sherlock really cares about Irene Adler and how much he's grown emotionally since the start of the series.
I love Irene's theme. I'm in love with Sherlock's character, even in the original novels he composed music
"When I say run, run!"
"When we first met. You told me that disguise is always a self portrait, how true of you, the combination of your safe? Your measurements. But this? This is far more intimate, this is your heart, and you should never let it ruin your head. Ive always assumed that love is a dangerous disadvantage. Thank you for the final proof.."
"Everything i said... It wasn't real. I was just playing the game."
"I know, and that us just losing...."
I can watch this episode ending million times
dialogue like
And this is just losing.
scene like
good bye sherlock
it's a best serial i ever watched
IT'S just a master piece
God this music is so beautiful.
Plus, I love listening to this while reading on rainy days.
Iren : it was just a game
Sherlock: and this is just losing
THE BEST SHOW EVER 🤤
Doesn't matter how many times u have heard this, everytime u do, this masterpiece will remind u of someone. Everytime
I see you everywhere Oswin, everywhere I go.
Every DW song, every Sherlock song, you're there. And I thought you died for a second!
Yes, big fan of classical/fillm musics ^^
Why did you think I was dead ?

Why did you think I was dead ?

Did you miss me?
Yes!
Goodbye, Mr. Holmes.
"When I say run. Run."
sooo romantic😍😍😍
year 2018 but I still listening
Not able to close CZcams without coming here in the end. Kneel before The Woman and beg for Mercy; "twice".
Thanks for assembling this. Could listen for 12 hours,
One of the most beautiful musical pieces
I think the moment Ben as Sherlock cracked her screen lock with #IAMSHERLOCKED.. It drove me completely mad in love with his Sherlock & set in stone my addiction to one Benedict flippin' Cumberbatch!
Can’t believe it’s been so long and I still get chills
"and this is just losing"
" I WAS JUST PLAYING THE GAME."
"I KNOW."
"AND THIS IS YOU JUST LOSING."
I've cried, you know. I'VE CRIED JUST WITH LISTENING THIS. Heartbreaking.
Ooooh I gotta watch the whole season back again....i'm obsessed with this luv it so much!
After all these years, l still find it the best episode. There were so many emotions that l experienced all at once and l am sure everybody else did too. I wish l could watch the episode without knowing the ending!! How l wish it!
