Although he was a British citizen, Freddie was actually born Farouk Bulsara in Zanzibar to parsi parents. He spent most of his childhood in India at an English style boarding school. He and his family came to England when he was about 17 due to violent uprisings in Zanzibar at that time. But Brian (guitar), Roger (drums) and John (bass) were all born here in England, yes.
Who wants to Live forever is another beautiful Freddie led song and Made in Heaven, another amazing voiced song by the greatest vocalist of all time. Michael Jackson was a huge fan of Queen
Queen did the movie soundtrack for a 1980’s fantasy movie called Highlander. Each member wrote songs. Check out: 1.Freddie Mercury (lead singer/piano/ guitar) Princes of the Universe, 2.Dr. Brian May (guitarist/ keyboards/back up singer) Who Wants To Live Forever, 3.John Deacon (Bass Player/ harpsichord) One Year of Love 💕, and 4.Roger Taylor ( drummer, back up singer) It’s A Kind of Magic. All 4 members were phenomenal musicians with a variety of styles and each wrote hit songs for the band. Every song in this movie was awesome because Queen wrote it all. Enjoy!
Freddie Mercury is considered to be the best front man in Rock history. Ask anyone with some kind of music knowledge who's had the best voice of all time, they will probably say Freddie Mercury. If you want to see why? Check out this video which explains it all: czcams.com/video/p3MjsrMNCbU/video.htmlsi=eAfhFGwmasDjXY2K
Yess it's a party with queen yuo can't stay still and yee freddie his voice outstanding the best singer in rock world great showman ever queen the best band ever❤
You must listen to The Lap of The Gods "Live Rainbow Room" 1974. If you want to hear Roger Taylor - Drummer - show you his vocal Range! It will BLOW your mind. Freddie was miffed that Roger could go higher than Freddie. He used to call it Roger's Dog Whistle voice. Freddie always wanted to be higher that him in range. Roger still laughs to this day about it. Which meant Roger could slightly out do him :) see link: czcams.com/video/xNmrj5nTMOc/video.html You will not be sorry!
The most successful band from the UK would be The Beatles, but there are also The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeplin, The Animals, The Bee Gees, Black Sabbath, Oasis, plus solo artists like George Michael, Elton John and David Bowie, just to name a few.
Here are a few to react to Queen Live aid 1985 20 min set the greatest 20min set in rock history Tie your mother down live wembley One vision extended version Under pressure 1985 wembley Dragon attack live 1981 montreal Keep yourself alive live montreal 1981 The show must go on Breakthru Play the game live Montreal 1981 Save me live montreal 1981 Its late Spread your wings Stone cold crazy live at the rainbow I want it all To name a few. If you love guitar you should listen to Freebird by Lynyrd Skyward Live in Oakland 1977 it's a long song but the last 6 minutes is awesome quitar solos!
Fun fact brian wasnt playing his guitar till the solo. He wasnt happy with the song and the meaning of it. At the time aids was on the rise and they were concerned with freddie. Brian was against it until later on listening to the fans " we see and hear it as having a good time and fun song." Then brian reconsidered they re-record it with brian singing and playing his guitar.
yeah it’s a double edged sword with the way Freddie was behaving but you weren’t literally going to stop him. he had to be who he was regardless of the consequences
The Brits had some of the most famous bands in all of history: The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and Queen. But, whether they’re your British cup of tea or not, the British band that eclipse all of them for notoriety would be The Beatles. No one before or since has had as much of an impact on the development of rock/pop than they did. Again, whether you personally think they’re the “best” or not.
Famous British bands/performers (so many!) 1. The Beatles 2. David Bowie 3. Elton John 4. Pink Floyd 5. The Alan Parson’s Project 6. Genesis/Phil Collins 7. The Police/Sting 8. Wham/George Michael, 9. The BeeGees 10. The Rollings Stones 11. Led Zeppelin 12. Duran Duran 13. Pet Shop Boys 14. Fleetwood Mac 15. Iron Maiden and, of course, Queen. The Beatles are the oldest and probably the most famous. There are more I’m sure I don’t know or don’t remember (wasn’t Shirley Bessy British?) I try to avoid recommending recent stuff because so much of it is mere pseudo-musicianship and computer-filtered fluff. Not that there aren’t lots of fantastic new musicians and performers, but they don’t really have a chance to demonstrate or refine their skill …
The most famous band to come out of Britian? Hard to say because there are at least 100 bands from the Briitsh invasion. I would have to say The Beatles because they were the FIRST band from Britian to come to America, February 9, 1964 and changed EVERYTHING about music and rock music. Soooo many bands were inpsired by The Beatles.
Hey I know I have said this before but A7X or Avenged seven fold is a insane band with in my opinion and a lot of other drummers the best drummer in the world Jimmy or the Rev RIP please I highly recommend them thanks

As an American I don't disagree. Just add Bowie to the list.
