I’ve got a 13’ Silverado and purchased the range AFM disabler. It worked great for a while but then I was getting a really hard downshift from 3rd to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 1st. Removed the device and its shifts great again. I guess I can live with the AFM for now. Good luck with yours!
So when you do this afm disabler. You might want to get the thermostat delete for the transmission. It keeps your transmission cool and prevent them hard shifts. Since the truck runs more on v8 it works harder and causes it to get hotter then how it usiolly is. Mine rides between 135-180° compared to the 190° to 225° when i drive it hard and offroad it.
Do a video of GM finally doing something useful, like a fuel management system that adds 4 cylinders. 😂. People who buy V8 pickups need the power not the extra 2 mpg and they certainly don't want the headaches that come with all this crumby technology. So yeah I'll take a 12 cylinder! Fuck the EPA!

Contact their customer service. They are great with responding. Sometimes the disablers have updates that need to be applied

Plugged mine in truck wouldn’t start up all lights on gauge cluster came on. Anyone else had this issue?
