    I know this is an older video but it helped me make the purchase of a TS2 Orange from Cajun Gun Works. For $2,500 I’m getting the trigger, hammer upgrade with barrel and slide porting and cut for a Delta point pro. I haven’t seen anything on CZcams like the pistol I’ve ordered. With my new custom holster and mag pouches, mags and mag extensions I’m at $3,100. The cheapest 2011 I can find is more expensive than $3,100. If it’s close to a 2011 I won big time

    Yeah baby. I actually just shot my first S2 with CGW trigger quite recently, but was very impressed. Makes it hard to miss.
    I had been gone awhile but glad to see all the CZ love
    Just let me know when you want to do the TSO and we can make that happen, if you're interested. Small gesture of thanks for a great channel.
    Keep awn keepin' awn
    *The S2s do come stock with the extended mag release

      Manitou Thanks Manitou! It is good to hear from you. I think I have a line on the TSO. I will definitely reach out if that doesn’t pan out. Have a great week.

    First thumbs up, :). That Shadow 2 is a sweet shooter, I'd love to try out that CGW trigger. I am still waiting on my big$$ pistol to arrive, been about 14 weeks so far. Great job nailing those targets at 50 and 100yds, and hope you have a great week brother!

    Definitely recommend checking out the Beretta M9A3. I know it’s not a competition type of pistol, but I think it could fill the role well if one needed it to. I’m more amazed with mine every time I take it out. The Vertec grip gives it sort of a 2011 feel while offering the benefits of being a DA/SA system. Great shooter for sure

    • @XRING

      Thanks Shane. I have shot one but haven’t had a chance to review one yet. I’ll see if I can find one laying around somewhere!

    Installed this trigger in mine. About $70 for the trigger, return spring, floating trigger pin. Turned a likeable gun into one of my favorites. Saved a few hundred over buying a TSO. Just didn't care for the double action trigger that much. Note: CZ is now making a single action version of the Shadow 2. But I like the flat trigger better

    • @newera3757
      @newera3757 Před 2 lety

      Why you don't care for the double action?

    • @bungalobill7941
      @bungalobill7941 Před 2 lety

      @@newera3757 Just an idea I suppose. I am used to the 1911 action or striker fired.

    • @newera3757
      @newera3757 Před 2 lety

      @@bungalobill7941 I'm not used to double action either. I'm trying to figure it out what advantages (if any) double action have over single action. Over all DA it's more complicated, more parts, more money to make, more labor. Why companies go in this direction? Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

    • @bungalobill7941
      @bungalobill7941 Před 2 lety

      @@newera3757 Myself I just like having one action for a trigger. DA/SA is a two action system. But of course you do not have to use the DA action and just go cocked and locked. But I still do not like that it is there. If that makes any sense.
      If you only have the one option of SA then that is what you will become used to.
      Some people love a DA/SA system so of course it is personal preference as with anything. Myself I am always off with the DA first round. Training of course can help with this, but I do not like training with DA/SA and then also training with SA or Striker Fire. SA and Striker Fire feel the same to me.
      My suggestion would be to rent some guns with different actions at a range and try them out.
      Oddly DA/SA action in a revolver I am fine with because it doesn't switch on its own. And a revolver to me is a whole different weapon all together.

    • @newera3757
      @newera3757 Před 2 lety

      @@bungalobill7941 I have around 1500 rounds with CZ Shadow 2 DA/SA. I used only SA on the range. I just don't get it. Why they put DA there. I can't find one good reason to use DA. I was hoping I'm missing something, some great idea behind it.

    Just pick up a sp-01, even with fix sights and all stock it’s a great shooting pistol... After 50 rounds or so I upgraded to the apex action kit... trigger is lighter but not as light as that Cajun trigger

      SternClub 2223 Thanks SternClub 2223. Although I have never reviewed one of them, I have had a lot of experience with the Panteras. You either get a good one, or more often than not, you get one that barely runs.
      Lots of people were shooting those about 2 years ago in 3-gun competitions and they didn’t do so well. Maybe they have upped their game. Thanks for the recommendation.
