Ruby Mountain | North Cascade National Park

It's been a year since I started backcountry splitboarding! What a year - especially with the COVID-19 pandemic, being able to be outdoors and go on these adventures means even more for me.
Celebrating this one year of adventures with a beautiful trip to (quite the literal) lost gem of North Cascade National Park - Ruby Mountain. Overseeing Ruth Lake, the tour is absolutely stunning.

Outside of the fun time in the trees how would you rate the upper hill technically? Definitely on my list to snowboard but I'm not an expert boarder (yet)!

did you park at Ross dam trailhead and then took happy creek trail up toward the peak? I am planning to go this mountain, march 2022.
