I Bought the Izotope Music Production Suite 6 | CRITICAL Q: Is This The Future?

Has Izotope changed the game for mixing, mastering and audio fixes with the Music Production Suite bundle? It includes more than 20 apps and modules with the highlights being their flagship products, Neutron, Nectar 4, Ozone 11 and RX. When I decided to buy the suite, I quickly realized it included NI Guitar Rig 7 Pro, Vocal Synth 2, Neoverb, Stratus 3D, Symphony 3D plus addition plugins from Brainworx and Native Instruments. It’s almost over-whelming and has taken me a while to learn everything that’s included.
Working with these modules, I quickly began to question if these AI driven apps with ‘Assistants’ might change my whole approach to mixing and mastering, as I was already a user of Ozone 10 and Nectar 3+ for vocal processing. In this long video, I consider the Artificial Intelligence impact and I answer a few key questions:
1. What are all the apps included in the bundle - EVERYTHING!
2. Which apps get all the attention and what about all the other software plugins?
3. Is this the future for mixing, mastering and audio fix?
My goals were to fix, mix and master a few of my own songs using only the Izotope bundle software, instead of my familiar plugins from UAD, Logic, Waves and other 3rd party vendors. And, I wanted to compare Izotope features and capabilities to those other familiar and popular plugins.
In this video, I explain my analysis and approach as well as demo each included app, so you can get a sense of how to use them and in what situations. The demo’s are organized into chapters, so you can jump around to the modules you’re most interested in. But don’t skip the summary and finding near the end and feel free to join the debate around “Is this the future?”

I think it is a step towards the future of production, mostly because of time. With the fast pace life of 2024 its takes alot of money and time to create. Having software such as this helps keep the creative flow moving faster and easier for younger minds to stay tuned into. Although the process of doing things is inspiring and epic. Not everyone has the knowledge or time to do so unfortunately.

I upgraded to version 6 in the march now it asking to pay again to upgrade 6.5, do you have any idea?

@@vcodev108 yes - I saw that. There isn’t enough new in 6.5 for me to upgrade, but it’s a personal choice. RX has some new audio fix features, but I find I’m happy with the basic, like de-hum, de-click, de-reverb and general clean up. I’m a songwriter and studio owner, not in the business of mixing and fixing a lot of audio for others. If I was a mix and mastering engineer full time, I’d consider the upgrade to 6.5, but as it is……I’ll wait.

how do i get the brainworks stuff guitar rig 7 pro etc? do i need to make accounts and do i get activation codes for each individual?

It is a little complicated. With your Izotope order (on their website - under Account) there are links for each product in the bundle. Yes - you’ll get a code for Brainworks to apply, and Yes - you’ll get Guitar Rig 7 from the Native Instruments website. NI bought Izotope, but it seems they still have separate portals for installing products. NI use the ‘Native Access’ app for all things, Komplete, Kontakt, Play Series, Expansions, etc. While Izotope have their own client portal app for Neutron, Nectar, Ozone, RX and such. You need both portal apps to download and install everything.
