Architecturally, this is one of the most beautiful homes I’ve seen here. Unfortunately, we aren’t getting any younger and will need a downstairs bedroom making this impractical for us. But I love it!

I know the scenery isn't really the point, but holy cow! I hope the homeowners are just running a small Christmas tree farm in their yard as those suckers will grow huge and so much for defensible space from a fire. All kidding aside, the exterior is gorgeous!! It looks like from the bird's eye view that there's enough room to put either the toilet or the sink where the linen closet is and move the linen closet next to the laundry room so you are not looking at the powder room right when you walk in from the front doors. Otherwise, I would not change anything else. Beautiful!!!!
I agree that the laundry/powder room/closet area needs to be rearranged to prevent that view as you enter the house!

This is one of my absolute favorites! The outside looks almost industrial and I was expecting a completely different interior, but the inside is so homey and charming. Great layout, loved the kitchen and the beautiful matching furniture in the dining room, and the bedroom with the green paneling is so cozy and peaceful looking. Wonderful home!
Lovely, refreshing design. As always, I appreciate all the work that goes into generating the park-like setting, not to mention the dressing of the layout.
I love everything about this home. The only thing I might change is switching out that bathroom upstairs with the bedroom and have that bedroom look out onto the porch. You really outdid yourself on this one. I love the look of the outside too with the LP siding and field stone.

Master suite off the backdoor main level works best for me backdoor through laundry for mudroom, then open ceilings in living and kitchen eliminate 1 bedroom and bath upstairs making each a larger size
Having 2 roof lines with peaks facing the same way will force rain water to collect between the opposing roof slants, which can cause leaking and structural damage without a way for it to drain front to back.
Beautiful house, but the stairs should have a railing all the way from top to bottom

Hope there's storage under the stairs. Lose the bench in the LR, and add a comfy chair and floor lamp. No one over the age of 8 wants to sit on a bench. Screen in the porches. No one wants to be bitten, or have bugs in the house. Cute place-could almost be given a Swiss chalet look outside if someone wanted it.

Two things I really loved about this house.
1) The roof line had so much visual interest.
2) The way the two closets in the main bedroom were arranged on either side of the corner to give each as much space as possible with the roof pitch in mind.
Some of the furniture wasn't exactly to my tastes (the coffee table in the living room was too large and felt like it impeded the flow of traffic around the bottom floor), but was fine for a "model" home.
All in all, it was a nice layout.
Nice home, but a a poor roof design for places that receive a lot of snow.

Get rid of the K mart wall in the living room, and i was told any home design where you can see a bathroom from the living room is a bad design. This home you walk in and your eyes go right to it! Lots of closed doors I'd like to see inside, open them up please.
