    Good how to video!
    Beware of welding galvanized material. The fumes are deadly!

    Looks like I welded that anvil together, we definitely both need a lot more practice 😂

    Think I'm gonna have to make mine a bit shorter, trying to hit something head height not exactly easiest thing on my shoulders.

    Even better, viewed in action! Great tool Adam. 👍👍⚒️🍺. I'm curious, do you think a longer shank on top, and a slide hammer, would be an option? 🤔

    • @SpeargrassForge
      @SpeargrassForge  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey it could be, the only concern would be the upsetting. If the slide hammer gets stuck

      @@SpeargrassForge very true..didn't consider that....we can overcome that..we got that "anvil cell" in our brain 🤔😜

    Nicely done! Did you pickle the steel tubing, grind it or use stainless?

    • @SpeargrassForge
      @SpeargrassForge  Před 3 lety

      I ground where i welded the tubing. But the steel for the dies is mild black steel. The frame doesnt get hot enough for off gassing so i didnt worry about cleaning off the rest of the gal.
