Scourge is slightly faster than Corsairs but only at certain angles. At 7:40 Scourge was definitely faster, I mean just look at the Scourge's shadows getting closer and closer to the Corsairs, but at 8:03 you can see the Scourge is not gaining on the Corsair. It's these programming differences and knowing how to use them that makes all the difference for pro players.
it is like they have the have the same horsepower and weight, just that the scrouge have slightly better handling!!
Scourge is a true slasher villain for corsair, if you make one mistake he’d catch up and you’re dead.
That drone pick up to avoid the storm drop was pretty crazy. How he did that amongst all the other chaos was a sick play

Incredibly dynamic game!
I tried to predict game end at a time when things weren't looking good for the Zerg at all, but I bet on the Zerg. In the end, the Zerg won.
I'd say a well-deserved win!
Effort is my favourite Zerg player, love his ability to change a game with intelligent plays!
Effort my favorite Z player ngl. Always playing sooo smart. Doesnt rly follow any pre-made strategies or plans,every time comes with smth different to surprise the enemy.
Had to watch this twice and I still can't believe how this ended. Wow!
Wow ever since Effort came back he has been dominating each game. I seriously thought Stork had the win over Effort boi was I wrong lol.
21:50 protoss player lost the game here. He was winning up until this point. Instead of breaking two bases here, he gets frazzled and panics, losing both reavers and bulk of his army. Never recovered mentally after that - look at all of the high templars he lost with full energy, just couldnt get it together after this point in the replay.

Scourge do seem slightly faster in a straight line, I mean watch at 7:50 it looks to me like that casts doubt on them being the exact same speed!

Stork lost way too many high Templar without using any storm. Same with Reavers and not getting enough shots/value. GG Effort!

I'm not sure what made you think stork was ever in a good spot.
During his best moments, after his best moves, he didn't even manage to get the drone count lower than his own worker count. At best, slightly higher than his.
He also failed to strike zerg bases down to number lower than required.
After that, his usual weaknesses showed up. Poor unit control at high supply, poor macro for long games, and extreme resources and micro wasted on endless storm drops that always died and never got drone count to be anywhere near low.

Can i ask a question why at 00 :55 protross player didn't scout early and make the probe come back to the minrels not scout earlier ??
Scouting with ur first 8 probes is a big mistake. That 8th probe that u will send scouting,will delay the 9th probe which will delay the 10th probe (and ur pylon) Its why he scouts a bit later. U DONT wanna delay ur pylon vs a zerg,u need ur pylon and 10 probes ASAP for the forge and canons

SPOILER ow man, I do'nt even know what mistake Stork did here...
I didn't think Effort would come back from that first half of the game !
The mistake he did was,when he saw the zerg making sunkens on ramps,Stork realised he can just do even base gameplay. Backed off,made the same amount of bases what the zerg had. Started to win easily. But 10-15 mins later he forgot the zerg is playing defensively. Went full offense and lost all of his bases. If he played more defensively,it would have worked in his favor. Sadly only after a few minutes,after he realised it... he already forgot it,went for offensive,lost 3 bases (one of which he lost 2-3 times) and the entire game.
he didn't storm enough (missed with a few storms too), lost too many loaded shuttles, and was out of position to defend his expos at a couple of crucial moments
@@greenwave819 Ofc he lost his expos,he decided to end the game vs a zerg that was defending. And the zerg sneaked behind his back. Its like the 3rd game of Stork i see him losing like this,i guess he didnt learn a lesson. Dont get me wrong i like Stork and i play protoss,but Effort was just the better player this game. Not to mention that defending with zerg which is an offensive zerg is pretty hard,compared to protoss that just spams canons or Terran that has the best defense in the game. But Effort always manages to do it. Stork just rushing to win,he plays the game,but not having pleasure from playing,while Effort really enjoys playing,he never gives up even if it looks like hes losing. If Stork was in his position like in the mid game,he would have just tapped out,cuz he gives up easily. Smth i dont like in players.
Also a good Protoss knows. Zerg is faster. He can always sneak behind u. Attacking blindly like Stork did,not expecting the zerg to suicide is a huge gamble that can easily make u lose. U are indeed attacking vs the fastest race in the game... vs bases that have no weak spot and u will probably not even break through that defense,HOPING that this fastest race in the game will not take advantage and move some troops at ur back to break ur expansions.
