Really depends on your taste. It’s a slow meditative piece. Considering that its probably going to win best picture I guess it’s a must watch for historical purposes.
I am an introvert, and a person that internalizes a lot of stuff. I thought it was good. Everyone else didn’t care for it in my Family. It’s a film worth watching IMO
Tom, Interesting ambivalent review of a movie I will never see nor do I want to. After 3 Billboards she should have done a couple of comedies with her husband lol. This seems unappealing. Besides my premium cable is ridiculously high with Prime Video and HBO Max I have neither time or money for more streaming. On HBO, Cinemax and SHO and STARZ there are Still 2019/20 movies I haven’t seen yet. As a matter of fact I recorded Doctor Sleep earlier and am watching it right now for the first time 😂😂😂☮️
Its watchable but yeah I don't blame you. Especially considering that Hulu has the worst playback of any streaming site. Frances and her husband are working on a Macbeth film that drops this year. Denzel Washington is playing Macbeth. But the other Coen isn't involved. Should be interesting.
@@TomTheCurator Joel never did anything without his brother Ethan before and that, IMHO does not bode well from the start. And why oh why Shakespeare? I only know that one from its ‘treatment’ in HBO’s Oz finale and RuPaul’s Drag Race competition ‘McBitch’ LOL I could see his attraction to the material I suppose, but I think audiences will stay away in droves. Romeo and Juliet with Leo as Romeo is one thing. I even went to see Hamlet with the then ‘hot’ Mel Gibson, but passed on Branagh’s even longer version that followed soon thereafter. Them separating to me is lIke, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.🤭🦇

I thought it was a good and thoughtful film. I lost a lot during the GFC. I found it relatable but admittedly a little depressing.
