Andy has never been seen as a likeable person lmao. I remember watching a video a long time ago where they asked how he came up with the name Reginald and he said something along the lines of "I thought of the most unlikeable name that people would hate to lose to." Yes even now I listen to his interview etc, I personally never liked tsm or Reginald I was more of a team liquid. My thoughts aren’t bias, it’s just that he just seems a bully, and some narcissistic almost, just I see him as a corporate factory trying to make money for the org. Maybe, or maybe it’s just who he is, regardless it’s wrong. As for double lift I always felt he stands up for something that is right. Fights back against what’s wrong.

I was a huge TSM fan back in the day when Reginald was on the roster playing alongside Dyrus, TheOddOne, Chaox/Wildturtle, and xpecial. If you were to watch some of the TSM's day in the life or whatever you call it back then, you can see day by day Reginald giving everyone emotional trauma
reginald would actually bully the entire team and film it and post it on youtube back in the day, I’ve always been a TSM fan but i’ve always hated regi’s guts. Now that Soren isn’t on the team anymore, I couldn’t care less abt the org. I hope TSM crashes and burns and regi has to crawl back to everyone who made the org and beg them to come back

Double himself agreed, at some point on TL I think can't remember exactly, that he can be a difficult person to work with. So on its own that criticism is valid.
he fell on his own sword which is smart. i think he agrees and wants to improve. but let's be honest, it's next to impossible hard and the change is very gradual.

a plat player can be a good coach, as being able to analyze the game and a player's performance and communicate that is totally different from actually playing the game. that said Regi has coached / been way more hands on in the past. by all accounts he's a terrible fit for that role.

This has always been evident. As a long term TSM fan you could see it when Regi would play on the team. The team would be going to make a positive play somewhere to get an objective, and it would only be 4 because you had the Regi show going to get a "highlight reel". Loved when he stepped down because he was a detriment to TSM. Always has been.

This whole thing with Andy being a bully is why I held the opinion that so many of TSM's players would have done so much better on different orgs, I especially thought this of Bjerg when there were rumors of him leaving two years ago before they gave him some equity with TSM, I felt that he would do so much better with a breath of fresh air. And I think this just goes to show that Andy is the core reason why so many TSM players can start out incredibly promising, then take a steep dip in skill only to bounce back when they leave the org.

Anyone who watched TSM vlogs from like season 1-3/4 would not be surprised at this right now.
I recently rewatched some of the costreams with meteos and sneaky. Even then they talked about it multiple times. All of them criticised those tweets and mentioned how bs they are.
So for those that ask why he didn't mention it earlier and if he uses this narrative as an excuse, obviously not. It is something he has said repeatedly and openly. This video/stream seems to be more of a summary.
I wish Doublelift or Bjergsen, one of them stepped up and finally created their own org. That, would be checkmate.

I have always disliked Regi since season 2, after seeing how he treated Dyrus, Xpecial and the others from early seasons I knew he was a toxic bully. People grow up but usually people like him don't change and get worse with money and power. I even made a post a few days ago talking about how I can't support TSM with regi as owner and got flamed to hell. There are videos of him screaming at dyrus and bullying xpecial after a game lol. By effectively being a whistleblower, doublelift might actually create more bridges than he burns. Honestly he has much less to lose than Regi so mind as well vent out his (likely mostly valid) grievances.
Regi might have someone who can help him write rebuttals, but probably not legitimate PR staff (a competent PR would probably tell him to ignore it and most importantly, not fire back).

And doublelift are just a few players that had their own difficult experiences with TSM. Dyrus and Xpecial called a lot of aforementioned things early on. There's videos of them being super fed up with Regi back in season 2 or 3. Yet here we still are almost a decade later.
DL is probably far from blameless in the whole situation, but there's a reason why TSM has ruined so many players and yet played better when they left.

I hate bullies like this because overcoming them takes an incredible amount of sacrifice and courage to do so. Often times the only option is to just get away from them, a very unsatisfying option I feel. They are like the devil in disguise, luring people in with what they want, and unless someone stands up to them, they move forward as if nothing happened. On the other side, the abused have to sacrifice their jobs, goals, dreams, friends, or even futures just to escape. Only if enough people leave will the bully will face the consequences of his actions. I hope that time comes soon. You can't hide from the truth forever. I hope this whole situation leaves Regi exactly where he belongs. Alone.

no, its because at one point the meta was duo mid. Right when regi was getting popular there was shift to solo mid. Whenever he would get into ranked lobby, he would type in "solo mid" over and over. This was before you could choose your role. You just queued up and typed in your role and whoever called it first got it. Exactly how todays normal games go. He got popular for spamming the words "solomid" in his lobbies. It has nothing to do with him or his ego. Its just the name of his position and he arguably had a hand in shaping the meta by being stubborn and leaning away from the outdated duo mid meta.

I don't think it's a coincidence that 90% of the top players to ever join TSM left the team with a very serious decline in performance by the end of their contract with TSM or by the start of their contract on new team. I have seen it so many times, year to year. Ex: Yellowstar, Biofrost, Hauntzer, Svenskeren, Santorin, Broken Blade, Dyrus etc etc... It has happened consistently so many times.
I wonder if this and the past stuff being resurfaced about Regi will affect the interest that players will have signing with TSM this off-season

Holy shit, DL and Ignar could be an absolutely terrifying bot lane. They both have very aggressive playstyles and they are always looking for the outplay. I think DL/Ignar could be an NA botlane that can compete with the LPL and LCK botlanes.

I remember recently seeing the video of Andy being verbally abusive to Dyrus while he was playing solo que for 10 minutes nonstop, despite Dyrus trying multiple times to end the argument, and I thought “Wow, I’m surprised this guy is so successful now.”
This drama with DL is seeming to get a lot of publicity, I hope this actually sheds some light on what a horrible person Andy is. I genuinely think he has to have ASPD or something, because he’s a real fucked up, manipulative guy.
