Backstory -
In the wake of exhausting all of his available teleportation rings, Sonic found himself facing ghostly versions of BF and GF, while simultaneously grappling with the weight of his grief over the loss of his murdered Best Friend. In this dire situation, Sonic couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of failure in being unable to protect Tails from becoming a victim at the hands of Sonic.EXE.

Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player controls a character called Boyfriend, who must defeat a series of opponents in order to continue dating his significant other, Girlfriend. The player must pass multiple levels, referred to as "weeks", each containing three songs. Each week, the player faces a different opponent, though some deviate in structure from this via the inclusion of multiple opponents. During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes (represented as arrows) which the player must then mirror by using the arrow keys or the W, A, S, and D keys. Some songs introduce more complicated patterns, with the player's pattern sometimes varying from the opponent's or both singers engaging in a duet.

Thinking about what the bad ending to the 8 bit sonic 2 was i had it in my mind of sonic being in front of a pit of spikes and in the end jumping into the pit of spikes

There should be one that is based off of Sonic.exe and Tails saved his friends, but they couldn’t save Sonic, and now Sonic is just in his coffin, waiting to get buried, and at the end. Tails makes a potion to revive Sonic, but the potion fails, and Tails needed to put more effort to it, and you hear crying and Tails’s friends come to try and help him, but they keep failing. And you end the song off with a picture of tails crying in his room.
You should have made with the sonic 2 8-bit bad ending but its ok

Lore time:
Sonic and Tails just defeated eggman one again, but this time, eggman had one last attack planned that could have killed Sonic. Thankfully, Tails stood in the way, but the cost was taking Sonics' place in the exchange. Sonic escaped and now has to live with the loss of Tails for the rest of his life. After months pass, Sonic runs through a creepy forest, eventually breaking down because his grief becomes too much to bear. He comes across the ghosts of Bf and Gf, shortly after the two blue beings begin to rap battle.
