  • This video shows players how to improve badminton flexibility and agility by doing a series of exercises done while jogging around the court. Doing these exercises regularly will help you become quicker and more limber during your games. They will also help you avoid injury.

    Not just for juniors but all ages. Warm up, stretching, and flexibility very important (yes, I still play at 46).

    7) zig Zag run

    14 ) leg cross over jumps
    Forward and backward
    15 ) star jump and two steps
    16) run and turn clock and anti clock
    17) leg cross over low
    18) wide skip
    19 squat and body stretch
    20 ) slow skip (relax)
    21 ) how forward like hitting front short
    22) sprint altleast two rounds
    23) walk slowly to cool down

      When I was younger our team only had 2 courts and so we would do the exercises on 2 courts per exercise but if u have access to 3 courts that would be good as well as seen on the video. And slow jogs on the side. It’s good to do it on a daily basis, take it as part of your warm up routine. Thank you for your question & feedback! 🏸🏸

      @@CoachKennieAsuncion waiting for it. There are many videos in CZcams about backhand clear. But non of them tell how to start with and how to develop a good backhand clear step by step. If you can make it slightly different from others (like your forehand stroke practicing near the wall was great , and I am able to improve my forehand clear and smash now) , that will really help

      It’s nice you put emphasis on core bec. it truly is important for badminton. As a coach, I urge my players to do abs everyday but it would be best to consult experts on that field to give u more variety of abs and core workout so it doesnt bore you but you are getting stronger by the day. 🏸🏸

    Many advance Player after they achieve some skill they stop doing all this and this is when their game starts to drop. Basic have to do daily take it as warm up. Basic is the foundation of your game. Stop doing your basic your game will drop slowly compare to those who keep it even they already at pro level.

      It’s ok to skip a few especially if it causes pain in some injuries but if not i recommend doing it... oh and the exercises you dislike... you have to do. What we dislike is usually what we need more😁🏸

      Don’t look at it that way because you will be discouraged. There’s so many good players but we can set small goals one at a time. Target a specific player and learn to overcome their game style... take it step by step. All champions had to fail many times before they could be champions. Have patience and just enjoy the game... 😁🏸

      I think it’s safe to say it depends on the adults fitness level to be able to do this before playing. However; plain jogging or lessening the exercise can be done as modification to suit one’s needs 😁🏸
