--Power and Strength Training-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mentioned it in the video already, but I want to point it out again: Power and Strength Training with heavy weights is not something you can just try out, but you need a proper technique and you have to build up your body for it for a longer period of time. If you want to dive into that topic see if you can find a coach, that will help you to get there without the risk of any severe injuries!

Tobi, please continue uploading your workout session frequently as many players including me are completely relying on you ! Please 🙏
Aloha Coach Tobias, thank you, speed is result of footwork, strength, and anticipation. So true. You provide a blueprint to work toward developing these basic factors. Each provides a huge advantage over opponents. Time spent working on them pays incredible dividends. Great analysis, wishing you the best and stay well.
Such great quality content, thank you Tobias!
This is so helpful. I have been looking around to see how to improve my footwork. Thanks

Thank you so much !!!
Great videos as always.
Thank you sir
Thank you✅👍
Brilliant!
The last tip was really interesting!
Excellent!!👍🏸😁
Gud conceptual talk😊, Amazing
Excellent video!
Thank you for the video sir.
Please make a video about weekly physical workout schedule including strength training and cardio training with reps and timings.
Very informative. I am seeking for a video about how to breath right during a badminton rally. I cannot find any material online about the tempo and the timing to tighten the core. I really want you to do a video about it.
Breathe out when you hit
@@daniely5260 Yes, from what I assume: hold breath while executing spilt step and exhale while playing the shot.
Very nice and informative video ....
Thanks my hero
Thanks for the tips. Better to know than nothing
Very interesting
you'r videos are great
Please make a video on different ways to do dives, both on left and right hand side.🙏🙏
Fantastic
Hi, I would like a video with an specific force routine with weight. Thank you. I love your videos.
thanks a lot
Your videos are super
Great video, more on speed, anticipation, and singles strategy, please. Liked the last guessing game!
Glad you liked it 😊 alright i will see what else i can cover 😉
@@tobiaswadenka8435 hello your videos are awesome...I am interemediate player...always we playing double only...can you suggest me any good racquet.
Please reply
@@mageshmkbabile7955 thank you! Hard to recommend a specific racket, it depends on a lot of factors (what level, what categories you play, individual preferences...)
Best coach
my nerd self loves this explanation using conservation of energy law to move better in court.
Nice 👍👍
Good video
Tobi, you should cover the Li Mao step. It’s a game changer. As always, very I formative videos, thanks!
What you mean by Li Mao Step? Haven't heard of it but maybe i know it under a different name
@@tobiaswadenka8435 czcams.com/video/Oo9sPVXJguo/video.html
This is Li Mao Step ,i used it a lot
@@tobiaswadenka8435 it's a step taught by chinese coaches. It is a 3-step maneuver.
Step with the nondominant foot forward
Hop the non dominant foot
Then lunge
This move reduces the steps and is faster than running steps.
I'm so glad you used the physics behind the techniques ...may be you can cover the friction aspects in next video.
Thank you for your feedback =) What you mean by friction aspects?
@@tobiaswadenka8435 thanks Tobias. What I meant was some of the tips such as: least number of steps to reach the shuttle, move on toes (not heels) are effective as friction wastes energy. So every additional step makes one that much slower to reach the shuttle.
Sir plz make vedio on hand eye coordination
Really interesting!! Where do you get your information from about the muscle mass? That it isnt increased much due to high intensity training? Mind blowing information
There is a lot of studies and books on that. A great overall book that is like state of the art on things like that is "Periodization" by Tudor Bompa. There you find tons of interessting facts about strength and conditioning training
Plz upload another video on singles tactics...
More on anticipation
Couldn't find anything on the backhand crosscourt drop, is the difference only in the grip used as with the backhand clear?
i like the strength training part
It's good
A way I've practiced anticipation is watching a LOT of badminton games on CZcams and guessing shots they're going to play. I first play it at .5 speed and after i get better at guessing, I up the speed.
Yes great advice! Most of the players I know that have a great understanding of the game and a good ability to read shots have watched tons of hours of badminton
You are talking about “ a link below" for other videos but I don’t see it unless you are meaning to look at all your videos (which are very helpful). Is that what you mean?
good video only one thing low rep training for strength equal to the same muscle growth in term of muscle mass than doing hypertrophy but will focus more on your strength
another great video! i was just wondering when should we use running steps or chasse steps. also im not sure how tall you are but i can tell youre pretty tall haha, is there any difference in footwork and advantages you can use?
Haha yeah I am 184. Check out this video where I talk exactly about that question: czcams.com/video/nsz448MxkZw/video.html
@@tobiaswadenka8435 thank you that video was really helpful and covered everything really clearly and in depth! also ayy im 184 too haha
Can you please upload a video on basics of drop shots pleseeee
What is best bg 65 titanium or lining no 7 boost?
Oh I see !
He can you make a video about badminton rehabilitation
Any tips to implement forearm rotation into your shots?
Try to practice shots that focus on it like stick smashes. In that video I also talk about it: czcams.com/video/HvAOMnoT3zQ/video.html
@@tobiaswadenka8435 yeah, I watched it. Really helps!
Should we focus on the shuttle or the opponent during the game???
I started badminton after 1 year away due to covid closing the courts. So slow plus my reactions have slowed too
Do you have any tips to implement forearm rotation into your shots??
Can you give me one week drills and work to improve my game
Can u please tell how to time the split step
Have you already seen my video on explosive start: czcams.com/video/mWK76ZDDFZQ/video.html
Good Tobieas
I think there should be a side court view also for big tournaments so that people can analyse more and can make their games better
Tobi ,
Please upload videos frequently.
We are missing you .
I try but so many things to do at the moment so I think i need a few more weeks before I can get back to it. But dont worry i will be back for sure 😉
@@tobiaswadenka8435 Okay 🙃
Love from India ❤️
ur string tension main and cross are same tension or not ?
No i put a little more tension on the cross strings (around 0,5kg)
Are you using the astrox 100zz ?
It is the Astrox 100zx. Trying it out at the moment, usually I play the ArcSaber11
Notice the racket face, you can make out its a cross drop in the first pause itself.
0:19 passes the Spy Test.
Which rackets u are using?
Usually I use the Yonex ArcSaber 11 but at the moment I am also trying around with the Astrox 100
@@tobiaswadenka8435 I think u should try the Yonex Astrox 88s or 88s pro
Is ur shoe shb 65 z2?
Yes that's right!
Is that Nhat Nguyen in the video ?
No it isn't
Thank you! Wakanda forever!!!!
Posted a video after a huge gap .
Seems like you have changed your racket to Astrox 100 Z X too.
I am trying it out at the moment ;)
First athlete to use physics
😂😂😂but nice video
New racket. Kindly review it
Yes trying it out at the moment and feels really good but not sure if it can replace my AS11 ;)
@@tobiaswadenka8435 kindly comparing both
you forgot to mention weight loss, right? I think that's quite a thing after all of those lockdowns ;-)
Yes you are right good point. I didn't talk about it directly but it is an important factor for your relative strenght (when you loose weight but keep your strength level your relative strength goes up)
Please make new episode
Hiii I Am your bigg fann please pinn me that I can tell my friends and proud to myself😇😇😇😇
Is it just me or racket head really seems bigger?
The way you speak is great, but you look so dead inside at the camera
I will try to bring more "life" into my next videos 😉
