  • In this video I want to show you 3 ways to improve your speed on the badminton court dramatically and will give you practical advice, how to implement them into your training!
    --Overview-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here a short overview about the different sections and topics in the video:
    0:00 Introduction
    0:32 #1 Better Footwork
    3:59 #2 More Power
    7:39 #3 Faster Cognition
    11:20 Outro

    --Power and Strength Training-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mentioned it in the video already, but I want to point it out again: Power and Strength Training with heavy weights is not something you can just try out, but you need a proper technique and you have to build up your body for it for a longer period of time. If you want to dive into that topic see if you can find a coach, that will help you to get there without the risk of any severe injuries!

Aloha Coach Tobias, thank you, speed is result of footwork, strength, and anticipation. So true. You provide a blueprint to work toward developing these basic factors. Each provides a huge advantage over opponents. Time spent working on them pays incredible dividends. Great analysis, wishing you the best and stay well.

@@tobiaswadenka8435 it's a step taught by chinese coaches. It is a 3-step maneuver.
Step with the nondominant foot forward
      Hop the non dominant foot
      Then lunge
This move reduces the steps and is faster than running steps.
