depends on the skin condition. for specific skin concern pharmaceutical is better with prescription of a dermatologist.

Hi doctor, i don't have much of a texture but kind of uneven skin as in it feels rough to touch all over. I do use suganda 5% lactic serum on alternate nights, and it did work for me in the preliminary days but now it isn't working as much
My skin feels dry sometimes so i do apply emolene, but as i start using emolene i see purging on my skin.
Retinol does the same to me, it causes purging, so now I'm bit scared of what to do with this situation.

reapply your moisturiser and sunscreen throughout the day. i apply my moisturiser 4 times a day and my sunscreen three times a day. double cleanse your face at night and then apply retinol (i only apply retinol once a week), moisturiser and sunscreen. in the morning just wash your face and re apply the moisturiser and sunscreen. you must always remember to drink water to keep your skin hydrated!! i hope this helps

It is a steroid cream please avoid. use a salicylic acid face wash as serum may cause irritation.

I use an Exfoliating Serum 2-3 times a week and it really smoothened out my skin. Not all exfoliating serums are suitable for your skin type so I recommend getting one that is suitable for sensitive skin too.
Which serum did you use and when? Also did it help you with the bumps on face too?
@@shohansarkar9809 I use Invity exfoliating serum at night ( 3 nights a week) after essence but before moisturizer for a few months. The bumps, especially on my chin and T-zone went away gradually.
