Been fishing for muskies in lachine canal since 2005 we caught about 50 muskies ranging from 30" to 52 " ! mostly in the beginning of canal where there is a huge sewer pipe connecting lac st louis to lachine canal! And missed a 50 plus three times on the ville emard lock near hadley st !! Great muskie fishing there!!!

were you musky fishing in the winter? Cool vids, new subscriber, montreal resident myself. I used to fly fish for big small mouths a little further east, and plan to start casting much larger flies there next year.
I havent specifically targeted musky this year, i dont really have the equipment plus i dont know musky spots in the montreal area that well. If you know any good musky spots lemme know!

Check out my videos and dont be afraid to explore a bit. If you wanna guarantee a fish I recommend hitting the lachine canal with worms/sinker between lock st gabriel and the wellington bridge.
Salut , depuis des année je pêche dans le canal. Plus vers Lachine près des écluses , c'est pleins. Normalement au première heure du matin c'est très agressif . Déjà réussi de prendre 2 bass de 5 lb dans la même avant midi. Lâcher pas !
C-rod fishing montreal je suis aller ce matin. A 6h15 il y avait déjà plein d’autres pêcheurs. J’ai du m’installer près du courant. C’était l’enfer. Toujours poignée dans les roches exc. 😁 quand même eu du plaisir. Je vais le réessayer un autre fois cette été.
