I JUMPED in the Water to get this Monster FISH!! (

- 3rd time the charm they say...as I arrive to the spot it was raining, so I decided to just fish for whatever we can catch, starting with a #bass set up. I spot a #sturgeon swimming in, so decided to try my luck...
After catching that first small #rivermonsters , the rain has stopped and I was able to see many #tench swimming by. So I have decided to sight fish for them using some corn on my ned rig!! I was able to land couple of them using this technique!! On my way out I spot a huge sturgeon, did a cast infront of it, it swam right to it, and BANGGG Fish ONNNN!! Crazy fight on my bass rod...then after a while some bad decisions were made...

Fishing by the Bass Building should be good luck. The Sturgeon action is amazing and that's special that you have the opportunity to catch them in an Urban Canal. Crazy that the monster Sturgeon is right there by the wall in the shallows. What a battle that was!!! Nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd. I hope all the Sturgeon Fans subscribed. That is the battle of the Year and you should sell the footage -- spectacular entertainment. Thanks for sharing Henry!!!

Fishing in the hood 😉 nice fight on that 1st sturgeon 💪🏻. It’s a bucket list fish for me! The invasive species…. Never seen them before. Looked pretty cool. That was an absolute BEAST of a fish brother!! I would love to catch a Sturgeon someday! In my river they are very rare. That must have been an absolutely amazing experience. I love how crowds always gather to watch you land them! I would have jumped in also hahaha!!! Dedication!

Those tench were chunky. I'm curious to know if you ate them. I'm told they're quite the delight to eat. Crazy sturgeon man, I'm impressed by the fact that you were able to sight fish one of that size! It's too bad that lady didn't take a picture of you with it, but we still have a great view and a sweet underwater release. Congrats on a very nice fish!
They are very good to eat but from this canal 99% of the fish have worm parasites in them so I do not recommend anyone trying to do so from this here but if it's somewhere where the water is clean and safe then yea why not, My grandfather has some very good recipies for them

Hey! Thank you so much for the support! So normally i would rig a worm on a jighead for sturgeon, and wait! But in this case the sturgeon was actively looking for food and i was using a ned rig and just got lucky!
Hello again, I have a small question, today I went fishing to a spot near this one and like this one there was à bunch of sturgeons and tench all over the place but none of them were eating my worms so I switched to the lures and still didnt caught any, hopefully I caught a smallmouth bass and my 3rd musky ever at 11.7 lbs
But my question is: what does the sturgeons and tench prefere to eat, because they were not attracted by my little worms 🪱
