Bass that feed on craws have shown a preference for small fat craws with small claws. I suspect they take the cover scat for a craw with small or no claws which is why it is so effective

A rod and reel that could stand the test of times, and will give me little to know problems is what I’m after! I want something that I could grow into and even pass down to my one-year-old son when he’s old enough to fish. Conquest BFS for the reel due to its all metal construction, as far as the rod? anything with a lure rating down to 1/16th oz. Theres probably alot of JDM options for a rod like that, you will just have to research.

i don't think the bass in my local pond will bite these lures. they don't like japanese food. i tried sushi once, but didn't catch anything on it.
