Love that this month's baits really emphasizes the retrieve. It's very easy to get comfortable working the bait the same way every time. Many times I have to fight myself to change it up.

Thanks for the outside-the-box tips. Like you I don't slow down in the hotter months I actually move my baits a little faster and it works. The choppo is by far the bait that has gotten more fish in the boat in the last couple of months.
I’m an old guy, therefore old school. I always have a spinner bait tied on. Thanks for the tip on them. Also, thanks for getting me out of ole steady, and getting my speed on.

You really put out a lot of great information, I was lucky enough to grow up on the horse creek arm of Grand lake.I knew my stuff in the 70s and 80s but a job took me away from fishing until now.Keep up the great channel following you is the best bait I have found!
