Have you ever noticed how DeSantis uses “we” when describing the accomplishments in his administration. But Trump uses. “I” in virtually every sentence when describing accomplishments in his administration.

Not to mention the Covid lockdowns and then the need to spend trillions of dollars because of the lockdown very bad. And he really didn’t drain the swamp. Remember he hired Christopher Wray. I will vote for him again if he’s the nominee, but we have to be objective about his accomplishments and failures.

@@kevinmalone3210 It depends on what you are looking for. North Florida and South Florida are quite different from one another, as are the larger cities vs. the smaller towns. I live in the panhandle and love it here, but I haven't lived anywhere else in Florida although I have visited most areas of the state. I like a change of seasons, so I prefer North Florida, but that is personal preference of course. I prefer the Gulf Coast beaches over the Atlantic coast beaches which is another reason I chose the panhandle. It also depends on your work/career/financial situation. Miami is very expensive, but other cities like Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa are much more affordable. Some areas are more focused on the tourism industry than others, some have large populations of retirees, and housing cost varies significantly from area to area.
I'm a proud native Texan. I was born on Texas soil, and I plan to die on Texas soil.
But if I were forced to live somewhere else, it'd be Florida. Personally, I consider Florida to be "East Coast Texas".
My wife is a Texan... We live in Tarpon Springs ... We look over the gulf... Texas is our west coast,,, we can do this together...

California native here, and been living here practically my entire life. While California is a beautiful state, it politics, at least on the state level has become completely unhinged. Some of the laws that comes out of Sacramento, their state capital, are really crazy in so many ways. It's what can happen when there's a one party system, liberal, that goes unchecked.
DeSantis, just from hearing his speeches in more than one of these videos, comes across as a good governor that seems to really care about the interests of Florida and its citizens.

My governor in Missouri takes the opposite apprroach to politics. He puts his finger to the win and notes it's direction which is often halfway to the Liberals. In addition he also always checks with his business cronies donors who are happy to fund his relection in exchange for some money for their projects. He seems to have zero new ideas. Unlike DeSanits he rarely or never speaks to the public about his creative new ideas and approaches to governering. We once had a governor who took to the path to the people. His name was Eric Greitens and the dominent Republicans hated him and forced him out. If only we had a governor like DeSantis. Our governor, , would have never ever challenged the evil Disney. 19:26 That can't be true. There is no income taxes in Florida? So the government is not taking a single dollar on your weekly 50h of work? Am I missing something? That sounds too good to be true. Or maybe it's just we have a different understanding of what income taxes means? Where I live, the government takes around 22% of my salary, and if I go over 40h in a week it takes something like 28% or 30%. That's a lot of money. These taxes are supposed to fund social services and programs, allow cities to fix roads, pay the cops, etc. Anyway, if anyone care to explain or debunk what DeSantis just said, I would appreciate it. If there is no income taxes, I'm moving from Canada to Florida ASAP! Btw, I'm just making around 45k$ a year, and these are years where I work over 40h quite a bit. I'm a truck driver. And I'm poor as f***!
There are no STATE income taxes in Florida. Federal Income Tax still applies.
In Some states you get taxed twice- like Colorado.

Just imagine how much more medical help is out there now then 26 years ago when I had my miracle daughter. I know of a woman that also had a 1lb+ baby girl too. She’s 1 1/2 now happy, healthy and doing great. We’ve come a very long way in helping these little ones survive. There’s even a huge selection of birth control now but you never hear anyone even mentioning that anymore. It’s all about abortion, some states even do it up until birth and sometimes even after.
