each mango is distinct from its colour, taste, texture etc. Alphonsos are my fav cus of their sweet taste with tiny sour notes, sunrise orange insides and melty texture.
For people curious, there are two major Mango species in Pakistan.
Chaunsa: It is grown in Punjab province
Sindhri: it is grown in Sindh province

Pakistan has more then 50 varieties in mango and each of them is delicious. Few I can recall that is sindhari, chosa, langra etc etc my personal fav is actually sindhari because one mango can fill you up one fruit is almost weight around 1kg it’s big juicy and delicious ❤️ no doubt Pakistan is the king of mangos

There is anwar rathor too.. its tiny and the skin is very delicate and it tastes like sweet boxed jelly.. and there are two types in chaunsa: black chaunsa and white chaunsa.. i have them both in my fridge.. but yes sindhri is favourite of most people ..

I feel like there just isn't quite like Pakistani mangoes. They are my favorite ❤ Thanks for showcasing the Pakistani way to eat mangoes😂 I didn't realize that people didn't know you can just suck the pulp out. I don't use a knife personally, I simply mush it around and bite the top off.

chausa (Bihar) is my village , i have ate chausa mango literally in chausa
In England, where I usually live, the ‘Sabzi Wala’ only sells Chaunsa mangoes. Right now, however, my family and I are in Pakistan. Here, I had two different mangoes together: Sindhri and Chaunsa. Although Chaunsa is VERY sweet and soft, I prefer Sindhri ones. If you can manage to get you hands on any in Canada, I would definitely recommend trying it and comparing the two mangoes.
Ye sindri mangoes are also very sweet and tasty. They are a better option for making milkshakes

My day is incomplete with having a mango smoothie bowl or something else with mango in it or just plain mango (it's a dessert in itself, Alhumdulillah) till the mango season lasts.
Sindhri, chausa, ratol, alfonso... I just love all the kinds, but Pakistani mangoes are the emperors of the fruit world.
That is a Chitta (white) chaunsa that's why the pulp was whitish . There is also a kala ( black )chaunsa which is better in taste for me but my favourite is Anwaratol which is the small mangoes which you eat by squishing it in your mouth 😍.
Pakistani mangoes are the best mangoes in the world people in Pakistan just don’t realise how valuable these mangoes are to the rest of the world.
Although I knew I would never be able to taste the Japanese mango because not only it's insanely priced but also that it's not available anywhere in Pakistan. However, deep in my heart I always knew that no matter how good it is it will never be better than our Pakistani mangoes.

$35 for the Pakistani mangoes? That is really expensive! Here in the UK from Asian supermarkets, a box is around £5 ($6.45).
and here in Pakistan, it costs about 1$ for 7-8 mangoes

The Pakistan chonsa you ate is white chonsa. It's definitely good but I'd recommend you get sindhri mango next time as they are superior in taste. For comparison the chonsa mango is alot more sweeter than sindhri but the sindhri mango tastes more like mango with sufficient sweetness in it
Maybe it's a preference thing. One thing no other mango has over a White Chaunsa is the fragrance. No other mango has such a distinctive, strong fragrance.

Pakistani mangoes are exceptional. But if you also compare other fruits like oranges, banana, watermelon, dry fruits I found very few to compete with Pakistani fruits honestly. Pakistan agricultural products are one of the best in the business.

hey, can you make Rujak buah (fruit rujak) from indonesia 🇮🇩
manggo is the best, but the raw version with indonesian style dipping sauce is the best one
here the ingredient of rujak buah
- fruit : raw manggo, pineapple, water apple/java apple/rose apple (idk whats is the correct name), star fruit, yam fruit? (or we called bengkuang)
- brown/palm sugar (indonesian brown/palm sugar)&(not the granulated one)
- one clove of garlic
- little bit of salt
- chilli (chilli, not pepper)
first, crush the garlic, salt, chilli (do not using blender) using mortar until becomes smooth
after the first ingredient smooth, add the brown sugar and crush it until nice and smooth (if you feel the sauce is too thick, you can add a little bit water or you can just add ¼ of water apple and then continue to crush it)
cut the fruit into small pieces (not too small)
now, just dip the fruit into the rujak sauce

Chaunsa is my favourite mango..only white chaunsa..you describe it well it taste more natural. It's sweet and juicy. For me just a perfect mango flavour. Also i like how you show Pakistani way of eating this juicy mango i also eat it this way.

I wonder which chaunsa variety that was,there are 2 main ones,safaid and kala chaunsa in pakistan,safaid chaunsa is just too sweet and you can get some really good ones from multan,they are usually mostly green with some hints of yellow,but the insides are light yellow just like the one you ate but they get as the japanese one, I've eaten one that was almost 0.5 kgs lol
It is white chausa iys green on the beginning but once its fully riped it becomes like light yellow. I am saying this because I live in multan and we also had white chaunsa mango trees in our house
