When considering buying souvenirs in Tallinn, under no circumstances purchase amber items or matryoshkas (the Russian nestling dolls), because those are most likely imported and have nothing to do with Estonia. If you like amber and matryoshkas as such it's perfectly fine, but don't be fooled into thinking you have taken a piece of Estonia with you.
