Thank you for watching, and keep creating!
This is awesome, thank you for sharing your process, every decision you made along the way made me smile!
Wasn't expecting to watch this all the way to the end, thoroughly enjoyed your process, Great character design too!
Thanks Kenny! Love your work 🤝
This is ridiculously inspiring. Thank you.
i need this addon in my life for real never new about it until this video truly a life saver for as my adhd doesn't like retopology very much
Thank you for this tutorial,it really gives an idea of the whole process
Definitely inspired to create my own 3d character 🔥
Thanks 🙌🏻
Thanks for sharing this ❤️
Hi! This was a really nice job, i could even say simple!, not because what you sculpted is simple, but because the methods you adopted made your workflow really neat and smooth. I'm currently focusing on learning many different things and tools to be able to craft anything that comes to mind. I'm gonna tackle on character sculpting and rigging on a few weeks surely, tho i'm prepared to suffer from my own inexperience XD.
The way this video just gave me hope! 😭 Thanks for sharing!
WoW wow excellent
AMAIZING
this is amazing
Its too fast for a beginner like me. Hope you'll make a slower version of this in near future
check out Ryan King Art or Grant Abbitt's tutorials
To me it feels misleading; the title implies that the process only takes 20 minutes when in reality that's just the length of the video after the process has been timelapsed.
I am following his steps by actual frame by frame (use , and . keys on your keyboard), and it is helping me out as I'm in the exact situation of making a model out of a single sketch. I do wish he had uploaded a full, un-timelapsed version of this.
You can apply all these modifiers. What modifiers? Jesus.
Awesome. Please release the non-time-lapsed video. Many Thanks.
Amazing! Gained a follower!
cool!
youre incredible love this channel brooo
Thank you so much!!
informative:)
This is perfect, thank you! I just started with Blender like 3 weeks ago and the length and speed of the explanations is just perfect. I felt very intimidated by that retopo thing but I guess this options and workflow fits perfect for me, gotta try it! I just want to pose character, not animating them :)
Hopefully you are ok with retypo, its a lot easier than you think it just can take some time is all!
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
Hello
where can i ask a question about FZRandomizer ?
Is it possible to assign a unique name to the renderer, which will be added from the selected elements?
Let's say B1H2C3 ( Body 1 , Hair 2, Color 3) ?
Would love a slower version of the remeshing/retopology bit as was a bit too quick to follow. Also how are you using box select to select all the mesh and not just the bits you can see from the front?
Hey! Yes sorry I tried to condense the process as much as possible to fit it in a video that’s not absurdly long. To answer your question, that isn’t box select, when in sculpt mode there’s a brush called “Box Trim”. It looks just like the box select, but it cuts away your selection similar to a Boolean. The view doesn’t matter, it just cuts whatever is inside the box! :) hope that helps!
I am ur biggest fan
Hello! How would you go about giving the model some actual textures, as in, with UVs and the like?
Damn, it looks hard
This is a newbie question but why does it look like all your objects have a translucent box around them?
will i be able to apply animations from Mixamo to any sculpt that i create? also, i don't see the link to the auto rigging you mentioned
hello how retopology your model?
im confused on the retopoligising part. when i try it it works great but am i supposed to apply the modifier because then it just makes the topology bad
Can you please post a detailed video on sculpting a character in this workflow
actually I am confused how 2 geometries are merged seamlessly
Can you make a full series of making this
I’ll look to do one with a different character!
@@FruitZeus thanks 🙏
just a quick question, do you do a manual adjusting the topology after you remesh it using the quad remesher? or just pure quad remesh result and then you just rig it right away? thank you.
Most of the time I will just use it right out of the gate. But there’s times where I try a few times / do some adjustments to get the topology as best as it can be.
@@FruitZeus ahhhh alrightt, thank you very much sir!
Question! I see tuts doing repotology manually a long process, but your method is a shortcut to that, does that mean this character is not meant to be animated just posed?
This is a great question. Any manual retopology will be way better for animation. I do this because I honestly have been lazy about doing manual retopo. I find that the 1 click solution works perfectly for my needs. I still animate with it this way, but deformations certainly will look better if you take the time to manually do retopo. But most of my characters you’ll see actually are just done in this quad Remesher way.
i honestly like sculpting 1950 style cartoon characters they have easy shapes and colors
i practiced by making felix the cat then i started making my own original characters
is quadremesher the best auto retopo?
It’s the best one I know of at the moment. It has its flaws, but for a single click, I can get behind it.
@@FruitZeus did you get the indie version? also before this did u retopologize ur models before. Also as an animator you have inspired me to try sculpting again.
@@jojobongaming5740 I have the perpetual pro, because I use it for work and I just wanted to get covered. There is one main problem where the flow of topology is not perfect with it. There’s times where the loop cuts can spiral out of control with complex meshes. However it always generates very nice quads over the meshes it generates. And i find it perfectly animatable.
@@FruitZeus Yea atm ive only used a cube and used that so I can avoid retopo. and than used rigify yea. Do u prefer sculpting over regular modeling? May look into buying that plugin than.
quad will not install :/
Bro is commentating
The MultiRes + ShrinkWrap process was new to me! I only used ShrinkWrap and manual retopo (even though I have Quad Remesher). Gotta try this on my next character project! Thanks, FruitZeus.
why is it both funnier and better to watch on 0.5 speed? 😅
But thank you, so helpfull! 🙌
