My Grandma lives in an apartment complex that got modernized to Innovation around 2007. All 16 elevators in the complex were redone with Innovation Prestige fixtures. After I get the EX515 key, I'll try to do a fire service. It depends on the building and the time. Probably a Sunday night would work best. Nice demo also.
@elevatorfan1231 I have done one on a new Schindler. Just search my videos for 2010 Schindler Fire Service. That is the only ones that I have a key for as they keyed them to be like the others on campus.
I hope you had permission to do this. Because using elevators keys unauthorized without permission is considered illegal and can be against the law depending on what you are doing with the key. However, owning an elevator key, that is legal and totally ok
He is authorized personnel in the building shown. Similarly, in downtown where I live, I'm authorized in a building not far from my house to use my keys.
Alex ElevatorFan thank you for watching my video. These were actually modded by Schindler. They were hired to install the parts that were purchased separately. Several companies were offered the job but Schindler won the contract. After a couple of these third party installs were complete, they then installed and updated more on campus with their equipment. Currently though, Kobe is now servicing our elevators. While Okeefe was around when these were done, they stick around the Nebraska and Iowa areas. Pretty far from here.

It sure has been quite some time. I moved roles at work and do not get to enjoy much time with the elevators as I used to.

Do you know what happens when you press call cancel while the elevator is moving?

It cancels the call and the elevator stops at the nearest floor without the doors opening.
