    Thanks for the video. The RT is a wonderful bike! I was sad to move from the older version of the instrument panel - I really liked the "live data" feature (1 second MPG indication) to see what cruise control was doing. And it responded far faster. But the other functionality of the new is nice.

    • @ninerpeak
      @ninerpeak  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Agreed it’s a fantastic machine but it’s not perfect like all other bikes. One of the best things that happen to this bike is periodic software updates. If we as a community keep suggesting features via Connected app you may get more features added to show on the display.
      I’ll be posting a video outlining some feature adds I hope it gets shared enough for BMW to notice it.

    I don’t own this bike but I do have a K1600. Dynamic damping doesn’t mean it adjusts. Dynamic in BMW terms means sport mode usually. Unless they changed something with this bike it just means it’s going to be a stiffer ride. So if you see dynamic that means it will be set up stiffer or throttle will be more sporty.
    Like the cruise control had comfortable or dynamic. Meaning it will accelerate leisurely or fast.

    • @ninerpeak
      @ninerpeak  Před rokem

      I don’t think BMW got it wrong. The GPS won’t tell you to turn right because the road is turning itself, no choice to make there. It will show you which way to turn when you have to make a choice. The instructions on the right matches with the arrow on the path shown where the other road meets the blue line and you have to now choose to make a turn. In this case it’s left. All GPS systems work the same way.
      Hope this clarifies the guidance system.
