*CORRECTIONS* This boards top PCIe slot is Gen 5, *not* Gen 4. It seems my info was wrong. Thanks to Jaco for the correction. Also the rear I/O USB C is 10 GBPS not 20.

A $200 motherboard is a budget board. What a world.
Prices have gone up a lot, but there have been a lot of gernational improvements too, so you do get a lot of more performance for the same amount.
@@jordanash people don’t seem to understand that. PCB got more layers, power phase is better, you get more connectors, heats sinks, integrated backplate etc. Motherboards now are more sophisticated and offer more.

Just a quick note if you got the 'no signal' on your screen hit dell button on your keyboard. Otherwise it wont post. After that the Ddr5 self learning did his work and took about 5 mins to boot the windows 10 install. I love this board its very well equiped with lots of great options. Been using it the last 2 weeks now.
The price is quite high 175 euros .
First boot is always slow, especially on AMD/AM5. That's more expensive then, it's a chunk less here.
Would you say this v2 version is for sure an upgrade/better than the original b650 X AX v1?
The big one is that apparently none of the V1's support Ryzen 8000.

You stated the rear panel USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port was 20Gb/s its only 10Gb/s (written on the port, you can see it in the video, verified on the Gigabyte website), the website does state that the front panel connector for USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 is rated to 20Gb/s
Cheers, I think this might be the one when I took the audio of me saying "USB Type C" from another video as the audio in this one sounded crap. Or I mixed up the ports on the notes. Oh well, I've added the correction to the pinned comment.

No probs. I can't remember how many this had to be honest. I cover them in the video, but you can use ones like the CPU optional for a case fan without problem.
A fitted IO shield for the rear IO is a big plus for me as I always have trouble fitting those thin metal things on the case.
I am SO glad these became a thing, takes so much of the faff out
For the ssd slot i didnt screw the ssd in i just placed the heatsink over it and screwed the heatsink over it is that fine?
Yeah, that'll be fine. As long as you too the plastic off the thermal pad first.
For gaming and for my socket AMD Ryzen 7 8700X3D who is better? B650 X AX Gaming AM5 or this one v2?
Guessing you mean the 7800X3D? You can just google on vs the other. The main difference is the 1st nvme slot is now pcie 5, and it also supports ryzen 8000
So i’m using this mobo for my first pc build and when I unboxed it I heard a rattling noise and am worried something is wrong
Might just be the NVME locks, they might rattle. Or the socket.

This is ATX and the other is M-ATX first of all. Both are good, depends on if you have a smaller case I guess

Well the MSI is M-ATX and this is ATX first. I like the MSI a lot though personally.

Can't you use? It would be easier to see what you can. Google the motherboard model and check the QVL list on the Gigabyte website.

Did you consider Ryzen 5000 series? I’ve had noticeable performance gains when upgrading from 3000 to 5000 series cpu. Few months ago I’ve build second PC - R5 5600X on ASRock AB350M Pro4(from 2017) with 32gb ram(running at 3200mhz 💪) and RX6700XT. This is solid 1440p gaming PC for child. What’s your use case, are you looking to change platform or willing to keep AM4 a bit longer?
Just to add, AMD have said AM5 will be around for ten years. Might be worth making the jump for extra longevity

Different form factor first of all, so some things might be different. I'd google one vs the other, that's all I'd do to help so you just as well do that yourself

Good gaming experience requires good audio which this board unfortunately lacks. What a shame that only the way much more expensive AORUS PRO AX is equipped with it.

If you're serious about sound then get a PCI soundcard, I have one in mine and wouldn't be without it.
