You certainly did not ruin the plates or tapestry. I absolutely love watching your videos. You have inspired me to make many of the projects you have done. Thank you.
I'm so glad! Thank you, Dee! 😊
You never cease to amaze me with your ability to turn trash into treasures. I loved the rusty vase and picture frame at the end the best.
I can't say you have ever ruined anything you've done. You take the ordinary and make it extraordinary.
I'm sorry Sherry, but I can't choose only one! Every single project is just amazing, and too much creative! I love all of them!
Oh, Gloria, you are always so sweet! Thank you!
You didn’t ruin anything, you gave them new life. I love the rusty vase, definitely a winner.
The brass plates were undoubtedly mass produced, so no harm done. And the brass-framed bird pictures are absolutely beautiful!
I think I would have hot glued a wood round to the center of the brass plates, but the final look is quite stunning.
Mary Ellen, I didn’t even think of that. Now, you’ve got me thinking about trying that!
I’m screaming “NO”to hammering brass plates. Then “YES”. I love it
I don’t think you ruined anything. You made them look more relevant for today. You never disappoint. You have one of the most creative minds I’ve ever seen. Love your ideas.😊❤
Oh, Margaret! You are always so kind. Thank you!
Just remember……. This is YOUR channel ….. you can do what ever you feel you want to do with YOUR creative mind !!! Everything you do is always so amazing….. whether it’s someone else’s opinion or not. You always do such a great job!!! I always love what you do. You are AMAZING!!!! Thank you for all of your ideas !!!!
I love the cashbox/Birdcage. It looks really vintage, so clever! But it's a tie between the little lamp and the rusted look vase! 😊 Thank you for inspiring us! Great video!
Very inspiring. Loved the Vintage Hook project because anything made of solid beefy wood makes me happy. Beautiful. 🌸
Sherry, you are the epitome of thinking outside the box. I look forward to every video to see your unique transformations. I loved the spoon rack turned herb display.
I gasped when you cut the tapestry!!! I wish you wouldn't have but as long as you are happy! Love *almost* all of your ideas!
I don't know how you do it. Your unique ideas are incredible. You gave those brass plates a new life. Every house I know in the UK in the 70s had them. They were cheap and ugly even back then! Now they are charming and have brass frames. I'm officially obsessed with your channel. I would love to walk away from my house from a month and say do whatever feels good to you because I know my home would be lovely afterward
Oh, thank you! Everyone’s home in the U.S. in the ‘70’s also had them. My mom’s had fruit designs and hung in our kitchen.
I would love her to come and decorate my front room and bedroom!!
My mind is blown. You just do the most amazing designs and creations. I am hooked.
My mum had those brass plates when I was a kid, brought back memories ❤️
You and ruining something should never be in the same sentence!! Everything you touch is changed into something beautiful and unique❤
Oh, Debbie, that is so sweet of you! 🥰
Once again you created some unique and beautiful pieces and you ruined nothing - and enhanced everything! You really are an amazing crafter Sherry!😊😊😊
Everything was great. But I have to say the decorative hook was my favorite.
You never disappoint Sherry. I so look forward to your videos. Everything came out over the top. Thank you for another fabulous video. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Thank you so much, Merry!
The wood squares are just the idea I need for the narrow space between windows in den. You are my go-to designer and never disappoint.
I just discovered Canterbury Cottage.. I have been binging 😊. You just what the dr ordered ♥️
I just can't believe the transformations. I LOVE the little shelf with the hook you created. I love them all.
I love the brass plates and what you did with them! My mother had some that were much the same, and I never liked them much. Now I wish I had kept them after she passed away so I could repurpose them like you did. I love everything you repurposed!! The Chinoiserie lamp that you created is absolutely adorable, and it's my favorite! Oh wait, the beautiful rusty vase with rusty roses and bird lid is my favorite too! You are one of the most wonderfully creative people I know (or know of). I'm so happy and enthusiastic when you post a new video. Thank you for all you share with us!❤
You turned trash into treasure! Truly, you did. You've never ruined a piece yet.
I have several of those brass plates that NOBODY will buy in my booth. I'm about to steal your smash idea. Thank you!
My mom had the same brass plates hanging in my childhood home in the 1950’s! Brought back memories…however, I cringed when you were pounding, but the final result is really pretty! I just love birds (way more than ships…haha) anyway! ❤ You never cease to amaze me.
I liked the 3 little imperfect squares. They are like 3 little urchins, needing a home. I bet they are happy on your wall!
Wow, these transformations are fabulous, I love them all. TFS your creativity. Nothing is ruined when it's repurposed!
Your videos go by so fast. That's because I enjoy them so much. Never disappointed. Always beautiful DIY's. Thank you...
My favorite is the candle box and the bird cage. They were all so clever and creative !
You are brilliant and save so much from the landfill
Don't every think twice about where your genius takes you even when it means cutting something up and giving it new life!
Oh, Kim, thank you so much! You’re so sweet!
I don’t think you ruined anything. All of these are really great. I just love your style and your unique sense of design. Can’t choose a favorite but the paint inlay frames and tapestry are very nice.
Thank you so much, Katherine!
Fantastic! I loved all your projects. And I found watching you create very relaxing. The tapestries were perfect!
You did a great job re-imagining some ordinary pieces to make them special. The brass plates were so dated but turned out to be great frames for the bird pictures. I really like the bird cage/cash box & the candle box idea of being able to change the artwork. Good upcycling!
My favorite is the table pedestal base turned shelf with a hook! Very unique! 🏆
I really like the plaque (last project). That is my favorite.
Every one of these projects is a sure improvement over what those objects were in their former "lives." You did not mess up anything! You saved some outdated "stuff" from the landfill! My granny had some of those brass plates hanging in her breakfast area. Even then, she referred to them as "dust catchers." So much better with the tissue paper overlay!
I love the wood blocks with the partial IOD transfers. As BobRoss always said, " There are no mistakes, just happy accidents." 😊
Thanks! I always try to embrace that Bob Ross motto!😊
No thrift store find was harmed in the making of this video😁Seriously, I believe all of these projects are perfect as usual and I'm inspired by your ideas.
I love them all as always but The resin vase with those moody flowers is gorgeous, oh my gosh 😮 I liked the way all the pictures turned out.
My mother had those same brass plates back in the 1960s and I didn't like them, so, IMO, you improved them tremendously!
Love every project!
You have absolutely outdone yourself with these flips
It’s hard to pick a favorite. The. Tapestry frames were gorgeous. Loved the birdhouse and planter too. So love these flips!❤.
Nothing ruined with your wonderful skills :-) I love the birdcage, looks much more interesting and authentic with the metal box attached. The hidden phone charging box is brilliant. I've been trying to design something to disguise my router box for a few months now. Definitely more challenging than I thought, but you've given me the push to try and figure it out. Also, I'm so happy the little bird pics are still proving useful 🥰
You created lovely art out of items that weren’t being treasured any longer.
Thank you, Debbie! I appreciate those kind words.
Seems I always comment the same thing, but Sherry, you never disappoint your viewers with your creativity! I loved all the projects but my most favorite ones were the brass plates refurbish, the bird cage transformation and the resin vase turned rusty metal look. Thank you once again for your superb inspiration. Great job! Oops, I forgot to mention riser turned lamp! We are definitely on the same page loving blue and white chinoiserie!! I can’t get enough of it.
Thank you so much! When I first started collecting blue and white pieces (10 or 11 years ago) they were fairly easy to find in thrift stores (and cheap)! They are much more expensive to collect now.
I also love chinoiserie! I love seeing "my" style shown instead of bland neutral stuff. Thanks for representing Sherry!
Oh, thank you!
Love the rusty vase and the picture. You never seize to amaze me.
You did not ruin anything. Love them all 😍
All are very unique and pretty! The brass trays are perfect! And the hobby lobby frames are so cleverly redesigned!
Thanks so much! 😊
ok I can see why someone would think the brass plates or the tapesty were messed up. But these were headed to the landfill... You rescured them, up graded the look, and now someone else can enjoy the pieces!!! The frames you created for the tapesty were my favorite project,
I always love watching your clever transformations. My favorite today is the resin vase. It looks just like a gorgeous antique vase with a lovely floral arrangement.❤
I don't know how you do it week after week, but you always come up with ingenious ideas. The small pieces of tapestry in the frames look great. And, I love the little lamp. I wondered what you were going to do with that.😊
Sherri, I really like that you finish the back side of your picture frames. When you cover the cardboard with paper or fabric to reinsert into the frame, rather than folding over the bulk corners, try cutting the corner of the fabric on a diagonal just a little ways away (not too tight to the corner) from each corner. This way when you fold over the two perpendicular sides to glue down you end up with what looks like mitered edges at the corner. Hope this works for you! S.
Sherry, I love your videos, I watch them over over. My favorite was the bird cage. And you certainly ruined nothing.😊
After the huge garage cleanup I bet you found some handy items to incorporate with thrift finds. I really like dark wood with hook project.
Thank you, Corinne! Yes, I have a few more items that I need to make use of really soon that I’ve been storing in the garage.
You didn’t ruin the tapestry especially since it was previously glued down. Love the results!
I initially thought, when I first saw the plates, oh no. I think this was because my grandparents had very similar plates hanging on a wall. But when I saw what you had completed with them as well, I thought they were very beautiful well done for taking, the risk it was well worth it.
The wood squares are not to my test, but the hook on the base of the table pedestal is beautiful. I believe the tapestry as a whole had had its day and you using it to make two pictures for your wall is a great idea.
Everything you did today was beautiful and surprising as always. Thank you so much!!!!
The lamp turned out nicely. Everything did!
Well, with each project I'd think, "This is my favorite" them you'd do the next one. So I'd have to say they're all my favorite!
Oh, that’s so sweet, Polly! 😊
Love, love, love the blue and white lamp and the framed plaque at the end. ❤❤❤❤❤
love the birdhouse- but no , would not have cut the tapestry , the huge frames overwhelm the small pieces
Thanks. I was surprised at how much better the birdhouse looked.
Oh my goodness Sherry, how can one pick just one they are all amazing! 💜💜💜
I Literally Love Everything you Touch! You have such an Amazing Crafty Way!❤❤🐶
Your imagination is endless - great projects
No, you did not ruin them! I love it❤
You give me the courage to cut or break things!!! Thank you from Kansas!❤
Yes the brass plates look much better. As I am not a fan of brass. But that birdcage was phenomenal. Bravo
Everything is absolutely beautiful ❤😂
It’s so hard to choose…I guess the lamp. It really turned out so pretty.
Oh I am in love with the frames/ tapestries!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!!
I agree with the other commenters, you never ruin anything but always come up with a unique idea to transform your items into something even more special. I love the tapestry pictures in those small frames, adorable and oh my that blue and white lamp I adore.
I love watching your videos! I don’t even have the same style as I live in a high-rise, but I am always curious to see what you come up with and how creative you are! You have a true gift.
I like the birdcage on the cash box the best. Very ingenious. 😍🤯👍
Look the blue/white lamp you created👏👏👏👏
I don't think you ruined those brass plates. In fact, I think they turned out absolutely stunning, and much prettier than what you started with!
I love what you did with the large frames and tapestry squares. Very pretty!
Definitely improved the brass plates 😊 and the tapestry.
Yay, thank you!
I love them all! I was so excited to see the spoon holder flip. I thrifted one as well. Mine has a second shelf and I was going to use it in my sewing room to display my Mother’s thimble collection. Now I know just how to take it to the next level!
You are so clever and talented at what you do. I so enjoy watching your videos for your creative ideas.
I would definitely hang the tapestries in my house. So unique.
The birdcage is my favorite but I also love what you did with two large grey frames!
I can never choose a favourite of yours, you are so talented i just love everything you do. Love what you did without the tapestry ❤. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent cheri ❤xxx
Gorgeous bird plates, I love the bracket as a shelf, and the 3 square wood items are awesome. the bird cage was very nice also. Your ideas amaze me, they are so good.
I loved the blue and white piece that you turned into a lamp.
I love the brass plates and the spoon rack for flowers. I also love the shelf.
Beautiful. Every transformation was absolutely gorgeous.
Hello! #1 I love the plates BUT the design is longer really popular/relevant. I love they're not going into landfill. Thats a great solution & you can choose your OWN theme +LOVE the texture! I've often wondered what to do with them! Well Done 10/10!
#2 Me too! love little drawers! 10/10 Love it. #3 Great upcycle idea! 10/10 #4 I like them, yes
Everything that you do is brilliant. My favs are the ones that you had the strawberry picture on, the rusted piece, and the very last one😍
As always.....I LOVE each project !!! My favorite is the Bird Cage !😻
Thank you, Pam! 😊
The Floral arrangment was my fav but al were so VERY nice!
Oh my goodness... The Resin Container ..loved the design on it. ..that is one of my favourites that you did, ( but, being me, lol.. I probably would have done a different paint finish, ) it looks really nice. The other favourite was the Lamp... I adore seeing Unique Lamps like that ..( not " junky ' what- in- the - w o r l d - were -they-thinking" Lamps, lol). This one looks sooooo pretty...it looks so lovely .
I know your Community looks forward to seeing what Miss Sherry is up to on Mondays!
✨️👏🏻🙂😊🖌
I can never really pick a favorite i'm so impressed with them all. Thank you
Glad you like them! Thank you, Tammy! 😊
I am always amazed by how creative you are! Love it all!!!
Again, you continue to amaze me.
Love what you did with a tapestry doomed for the landfill. Good job
This was an especially wonderful collection, Sherry, I loved them all! As a student of herbalism that little spoon rack absolutely charmed me; unsurprisingly someone has snapped it up, but I'm inspired to hunt one down and remake it in similar fashion. I got a lot of beautiful ideas from this post, thank you!
You are so welcome! I’m so glad you liked today’s projects. Since you are an herbalist, I think you need a much larger spoon rack anyway!
I loved the ceramic lamp, what a great way to update the piece
Loved all of these. Favorite two (can you believe it? I actually narrowed it down to two) are the bird cage and the set of picture frames.
