If it is a 55% chance of an El Niño, that means there is a 45% chance it won’t happen. Let’s hope this prediction leads to better preparation amongst the populations who will most likely be affected by this.

They are always incorrect
It is called El Niño because it starts around Xmas, when El Niño Jesús arrives, this one started in March which the First time ever, additionally, when El Niño Is around, the Peruvian coast which is normally a desert with no rain it turns green, they have not had any unusual rains as previous Niños. Obviously someone is manipulating the weather. I will leave the rest up to you, reach your own conclusions.

What it means is that these "experts" dont know squat. Last yr was la nina that was supposed to be drier weather, yet we got record rainfall. Instead of getting a drought. we actually got out of a drought. They cant even predict the weather next week, but they can guarantee you what the weather will be 100 yrs from now.
Wow a 55% chance!!! Hundreds of billions spent over the decades on supercomputers, satellites, and research and we are now 5% better than a coin flip. No wonder groundhog day is still a thing 😂

Keep saying El Niño yet the water temp off HB is normal. That is not a good indication of El Niño. Water should be warmer and there should be more hurricane activity than there is. NO! Two hurricanes off of Mexico is not an excessive amount of tropical storms. That is normal. El Niño would cause more hurricane weather in the Pacific and there has been any.
Weather people always looking for extremes so their jobs don’t seem so boring and monotonous. Same ol’ same ol’ just a different day.
