I my opinion AOT wasnt really a great manga or anime got bored with it real fast. But I was never really a heavy shonen enthusiast other than a few of them, they're all really similar and usually follow a similar path which get real old real fast. In my opinion shonen needs to be the secondary genre for it to be a great anime or manga sort of like Fma or Id (a Korean manwha if I'm not wrong).
aot isn't shonen, it has a start like one but it's seinen
@@AgMak yeah i get what you mean, i meant shounen as the demographic of the series not the genre. Its directed towards a more younger audience, 12 to 18. Its in a shounen magazine, so by default it is a shounen manga with a seinen undertone. Its not a horrible read it was just in my opinion boring.

@@AgMak like said before, its in a shounen magazine which are marketed to younger audiences, so its a shounen manga by default. If it was published by anything other than shounen sunday it would still be classified as a shounen, because thats the age group its marketed towards.
