DCS F-15E Strike Eagle | Navigation

- In this DCS F-15E Strike Eagle video, we will talk about how to navigate using the aircraft system. We will then take-off from Nellis Air Force base and fly to a target area and perform a dive-toss bombing attack. After that we will use the air-to-air radar to sanitize our egress path and finish by a TACAN to ILS approach at Creech Air Force base.
More videos soon. - Hry
Great stuff, it will be a fantastic addition to DCS.
Can’t wait!
Mig23 would be even better, we need more opfor planes, we are already plenty of NATO ones
@@ziosam850 full fidelity flanler? FFF
@@ziosam850 Razbam is developing a Mig23 aswell

Nothing like learning how to fly a jet from someone who has flown the jet. Thanks for a great video! This is the mod I have been looking forward to more than any other!
idk what kinda landing that was tho.
@@captgruesomeyt1569 It's called a hard landing. That's when the plane hits the runway at a higher than optimal speed. It even bounced. But there is a difference in landing a plane in real life and in a game. You have quite a bit more feedback from the plane and all the forces you feel on your body, so landings are much better in real life.
@@xXrandomryzeXx I see what the issue is. You don’t know what "crack, shift, idle, flare" is do you? I do. He does. He didn’t apply it so again, I don’t know what kind of landing that was. He wasn’t on speed, touched down well into the under-run, and let the nose fall too soon. Landing a fighter is all visual until you touch the ground my guy.
@@captgruesomeyt1569 While I don't know either, especially in DCS I apply the mantra of "any landing you can walk away from" etc etc...
This is WIP, maybe the flight model is not quite right, maybe he just messed up his approach but didn't abort like you may consider IRL.
Certainly wasn't a smooth landing, I'll give you that.
@@captgruesomeyt1569 Well, he did say he flew it 20 years ago, we should give him a pass for being a bit rusty 😝
This was Fantastic! Brought back so many Jane’s F-15E Strike Eagle Memories…..I don’t think there’s anything more I’m looking forward to in DCS…Great video,Thank You.
Ditto here, this is the module I've been waiting for by FAR the most. Keep up the great work!!
Same here ! Can’t wait for the SEagle
For me, the cycle will be complete: A-10, the modules that never was from Jane's, the Apache, and now the Strike Eagle. Will be great to relive those days, now in a full fidelity mod.
@Sqwee "That's bigger than Dallas!"
Boom boom, out go the lights!
Thanks for working with RAZBAM on this project. They've really turned things around and IMO are one of the best devs for ED. I'm sure this module will do the F15E justice.
You flew that jet. I crewed it back in 2012-14. Had a permanent inspection after 50 flight hours due to a crack at the base of the left vert. I'm sure that's been fixed at depot by now. Good stuff. I'm so excited for this mod.
It‘s really cool how the navigation tutorial is embedded into a little mission.
Keep up the great work.
That's it all about: full load of Mk82s, four missiles, two bags, two pods, all that at 500 knots at ground level. The Mudhen is amazing!
Got a ride in a Strike Eagle at Mountain Home back in 07. It was a blast.
Wow, you Sir go lucky!!!
I honestly cannot wait. I'm like a child waiting for presents on xmas morning.
No doubt.. like take my money already
me too man, hahahahaha
Any ETA?

Great video. Taught with the style/clarity that only a pilot can teach it. I've worked the Strike Eagle for my employer and this module is eerily accurate. Great job.
Very good video. Besides the obvious "cant get enough Strike Eagle", I mostly enjoyed that the instructor was well spoken, clear and very entertaining. Good One!
Fantastic to see the bolars getting love in this module. Was very lucky to sit in 91-327 a few years ago and can’t wait to sit in it again. Only virtually this time!
My compliments to the brother making the videos. Very well explained. With these instructions I feel like I'm gonna be able to fly it without much adaptation from my actual experience with other aircraft. About the module, good to see the level of detail you guys are shooting for. Confirming more and more my day one purchase.
The fact that this Strike Eagle is going to have the PW-229 makes me even more excited to get it once it is released.
That added power is going to allow the Mudhen to fight on near equal footing with the 15C.
Love the video. I ran the MSIP program with the 493 Grim Reapers F15-C from 1992 to 1996. Also prior to that I helped do the Nuke cert on the "Mud Hen" with the 422 Test and Evaluation from 1989 to 1992. Thanx for the video. "SLUGG"
The most awaited module on DCS
Always a good day when we get a strike Eagle vid
Thanks for this well constructed video...Love that you picked NTTR! I would recommend testing different in-game GAMMA settings for more colorful texture immersion. NTTR looks washed out in this video. 2.2 is default and I remember when we couldn't adjust it, but play around with it and see what looks good to you. The desert is an amazing place and there is more color and detail than we might think. ~Juice
Oooooh boy I cant wait!!! Every video on the F-15E just leaves me wanting more! Great video!
Takes me back to those halcyon days of Jane's F-15 Strike Eagle❤ I can't wait to purchase
This was less a navigation tutorial and more a preview and I am here for it!!!!!!
I had watched this video a while back, and now that I can actually fly the F-15E, I'm happy I did. I made a similar flight plan on the Nevada map (haven't put in the air-to-air yet, but I had trucks to bomb with my MK-82s), and then I flew it. It behaves like in the video, and I can confirm the waypoints behave as described, if you set a target waypoint with #T in the editor, in A-G mode you'll automatically get your bomb fall line and be able to drop your bombs (I hit 4 out of 9 trucks on my first attempt). I also entered TACAN and ILS for CREECH AFB and landed. It makes it easier to learn the basics when we've learned them with a how to video like this one before even flying the plane! Big thanks from a virtual pilot who appreciates the effort that went into making this video.
This was just awesome! Thanks a lot! very clear and understandable instructions! i love this plane and can hardly wait to it's release! greetings out of switzerland
Nice demo! Looking forward to the Strike Eagle!
It flys like a dream, great job guys!
Nice overview. This is easily my most anticipated module since the Viper.

Wow! The strike has a lot of really cool features!
Awesome video! Thanks guys. Loving to see this progress.
HUD looks very realistic, nice!
Been waiting for this to release since the days of Lock On: Modern Air Combat
Awesome! Can't wait for this module
incredible progression with the external model, how far has this come from the m2000 test bed video? does this version now have its own flight model or it is still using an already made flight model with an f15e skin?

Me so pumped I got a strike eagle tattoo also loved the commentary nothing like hearing it from the real deal.
My soon-to-be favorite DCS module!
Can't wait for this module. Will upgrade my DCS setup and PC for it!
Great video, thank you!! Can’t wait for this module.
Great tutorial video of one of my favourite airframes and from an ex heath pilot. I managed to get a private tour around a madhatters aircraft at riat last week by one of their engineers.
Thank you for adding in the extra bits. It made the video fun to watch.
Now this is a module I am looking forward to! 👍
Always good to see modern era getting more jets! keep them coming, we need diversity !
you mean turning DCS into War Thunder :D
Okay that’s just a fat lie. xD
Modern jets; diversity? The F-15E and F-18 have too much in common to be called “diverse.”
I’m looking forward to the F-15E, but come on. 😂
Cold War is where you find diversity.
@@rhysgoodman7628 It's called multi role jets, cold war can't have that due to technology limitations of the era. And no we can't have 2 jets in modern era and call it... we need more modern jets so we have options to choose from. Cold war is so boring to me, sry I just don't find limited jets fun.
@@mro9466 Hi cold war fan, no war thunder pls, realism.

ohhh, been on DCS hiatus for summer time stuff so this was a treat!
Love the harrier from you guys . It’s what I would imagine how the real plane would feel like to fly. Hoping this module delivers like the harrier
As a former Air Force guy, I'm really excited for this.
Awesome, can’t wait fly it 👍
Man, that panel and HUD really brought on a Janes flashback!
love these videos and teasers/ trainers, keep'em coming :) i've been flying harrier as my copeium until eagle comes out. But don't feel any pressure to cram or early release though, its ready when its ready, i can wait.
Great presentation. I look forward in buying this jet. Thanks for all that you do.
Wow this is looking really good. We might just get this beauty this year!
Great video! Really looking forward to get my hands on the Eagle.
One of my favorite childhood memories was my dad coming home from CompUSA with a copy of Jane's F-15 for me. Still have the thick manual that came with it.
very excited for this module. definitley a buy for me
Big time looking forward to this.
awesome vid love the back seat!
Amazing machine guys, I love with all my heart, keep work guys, Cant wait, thank alot
Thanks for the great video! I can't wait for this module so much! It's so cool that my heart is about to stop lol I'm rooting for you from Japan too!!!!
Great video, nice teaser! And the volume is good now.
Very cool, adding to the hype! These videos keep us going while we wait. Excellent work so far RAZBAM
Woohoo! So excited!
Great video! thanks
Nice to see a fellow mad hatter....we probably met as I was a day shift crew dog responsible for launch and recovery for most of my time at Lakenheath (92 to 98)
This was a great vid, really entertaining! Notso, you seem way more confident flying AND talking at the same time lol, the vids are really improving!
This will be out on christmas! Perfect gift from santa! If he exist.
The potency of this platform in DCS World is going to realign some thought processes on what to fly...
Fantastic video, I'm putting a lot of time into this aircraft, watching them at Lakenheath recently along with the F35! 5:22 Can I just say that the current behavior in pitch on takeoff is that the nose snaps up very easily, reaching 20 degrees up, even when passing 5 degrees and trying to very gently hold 10 degrees, it wants to snap up. Your takeoff looks much better and more realistic. Of course there may be a trick I'm missing, but watching all the takeoffs on multiplayer recently, and on vast majority of video's posted recently, I see this snap up. On landing however, it's a dream!
Can’t wait for this one
For such a big plane, it seems quite agile, but the inertia seems great.
Great video guys. That bombing teaaer is just what we need. Please make next video with human second pilot, just for tease ;)
Awesome work. I assume plugging in waypoints on start up or in flight will be possible as well?
yaay happy to see some news from you guys
I CANNOT wait! My poor F16 will be gathering dust LOL
Oh wow a real strike eagle pilot teaching us how to use it ..... don't get better than that at all
Excellent 👍🏻 many thanks
looks sick, the E is for Excellent +++
F-15E driver showing us the jet??? This is just fantastic. I also appreciate how you don't harp on "I can't do this that and the other cuz it's classified", like that "other guy", lol. Also, is it possible to brighten the text on the UFC?
A download link to the mission would be helpful. Looks like fun. Love the jet. Thanks for sharing

Wow! You just made me sanitize my credit card 😂.....Can't wait to take her up in VR!
Oh my God he's an actual mudhen pilot. holy shit. that makes this so much cooler
Great vid
Our in this keep em coming
Love flying this bird!
Can't wait until we get our hands on this.
Matt, in your opinion, what is the current level of completion for RB’s F-15E? Any guess you can give us on how much longer we have to wait for this beautiful bird? 😉
Great video as always.
Awesome! So you were a pilot at the heath? I was crash recovery (crew chief) 96-02. I was there when the blue tail cartwheeled into the dirt among many other incidents. I primarily did flight control and landing gear rigging/work. I cannot wait to play this mod and compare it to what I know of the actual jet. I have worked on this tail as well. I always grab a Lakenheath tail from the 493rd when I play the C.
I was there in 99-02 but as a strike eagle pilot’s dependent. My dad was the flight lead on that landing incident. I remember him having to go to the hospital to be with the crew after that.
Sounds like you were a part of the A/R or R/R shop. I am apart of that now although different as I am on B-52s wish I was on fighters though
🔥🔥🔥
Beauty!
Looks good
I can’t wait
good morning,I have a question,on the F15 there is no function to change the steer point in manual with the commands of the hotas as it happens on the A10?
Outstanding. I'm looking forward to this jet, a total beast to turn gallons into decibels :) Is the real Strike Eagle this twitchy in the pitch, too, or did you just pay less attention to the trim to focus on the narration? The bird seemed to drift all over the pitch ladder. Great example of sanitizing your egress, thank you! The next time I need to sanitize tables I'll suggest an M61A1 with 20mm consumables for the job and blame your terminology for it, haha.
It may still be using the Harrier external sounds, as it was using those some time ago.
Keep up the great work RAZBAM, you guys are really becoming a one of DCS's best teams.
Not -So, great video. Straightforward, showing all the mighty of the F-15 Strike Eagle. It is an amazing aircraft, and in this video, we can see its full potential. I would never ever thought of going inverted and doing a dive loft in a target as you did, but that is the experience of one who flew it in real life.
Magnifique
What is the bracket to the right of the speed indicator ? Is that an AOA bracket or something else ?
harrier was my first plane, this will be my next one i buy, great work razbam keep it up
This needs to drop!!!!
i recon that the F15E we’re going to get is not equipped with JHMCS right?
They already confirmed it’ll come sometime in development, just not at release.
Thank you Sir! I really enjoyed that and I'm not a pilot. You certainly have the gift! Cheers ~ Boomer.😁
I followed some of these tutorials. They are greatly appreciated. But if you could, please zoom in every now and then to the part that you are explaining and pointing out so it is easier to see/read. The cockpit looks very 2D when it stays fixed all the time. I hope you don't mind. Just some feedback so the tutorials will be more visually engaging. Thanks!
Idk if anyone knows this but does the Strike Eagle come with HMCS?
Andy Hollis would be proud.
