1/STA (1 per station) was selected in ARMT page. For single weapon release, STEP should be selected.

Cap, in order to actually release only one bomb at each Pickle press, you must select the STEP instead of the 1/STA option when configuring your bomb drop Program. The "1/STA" means it will drop 1 munition per station selected, so if you have multiple stations selected, it will drop one bomb from each station all at once. The STEP however, will only drop a single bomb, regardless of how many stations you have selected.
So, rule of thumb for Laser-Guided Bombs: ALWAYS setup your programs to be AUTO > STEP > N/T.
Not to be picky, it did work after all, but with reference to Starbaby (WSO from 10% true) you shouldn’t lase these to early as the laser would drag them towards the target. They could easily loose their energy and fall short. He also stated that for the big 2000lbs bombs they usually did a dive drop to get speed and energy to the bombs to avoid the falling short.

I have had the f15e for about 2 days now looking forward to learning all of this stuff. So far am loving the f14, 16, 15c and a10a. I got the a10cII when I got the 15e got alot of learning to do but it's a blast

Hey cap, at 13:00 in the section for moving target bombing with lasing, when trying to lock on the tank but snap onto the runway, i believe its not because of a lack of contrast but more the fact your telling the pod to look for a white polarity in the raster (hence it says WPT on middle bottom osb button on TPOD mfd, while you polarized heat as black? The runway glows white and as of such the TGP snaps to the white you told it to look for. This may have been told to you already but i thought i'd point it out, correct me if i'm wrong so we learn together. Regards! o7

not sure why but when im armed with laser guided bombs the armt screen for A/G doesnt appear that way for me... it shows me how many of each munition are on each pylon but it doesnt say which type and i cant select anything from that top row to program
Ok this is making me nuts, i threw a quick simple simple bombing mission together, designated the targets with #T in mission editor, shows up as triangle on map screen in jet. GBU12 500's designated with t-pod, lazing happens on auto mode, release time counts down, bombs release as i hold pickle....and they are always lofting past the target missing. what could i be doing wrong to cause this? i leave the laser code as default 1688, now in mission editor when you set laser codes, they jump to 888 so i dont know what thats about.
Found it, in mission editor, just enter last 3 digits of laser code. 688. Confirmed with knee board. I was trying to enter 1688 in mission editor causing 888.

I have been working with rhe laser fuided bombs and srill cant get them to hit seems almost like its not following the laser. Theblaser is showinf when its lasing so im not sure what is foin on withbir

I cannot get the bombs to hit for anything it seems. I have tried auto and manual lazing and my bomb always seems to go long not sure what I'm doing wrong.

When i try this on coral reaf mission i cant it working. The lase is flashing but the bomb is not guidning

12:35 When you designated the target your TPOD crosshair was not on the target. Does it not matter where the TPOD crosshair is when designating, you just have to press designate somewhere and then auto acquisition actually designates the target?
My armament screen doesn't recognize bombs.. Is it because I have steam version? I did set master arm to on.

At 2.16 he says right castle switch long presses but then adjusts the coolie switch in control options? Was that a mistake or am I missing something?
Another question is the Boat switch. Why didn't they call it undesignate instead, lol. Boat switch aft seems a very vague name for a command, lol. Most of the time on a boat is trying to get off of it and into the Air, lol.
Hi. I seem to have a problem. In the arms page for some reason I cannot box the bomb to set it up. No matter how many times I click the button above the bomb it will not box. And today the bomb names did not even appear on the page just the numbers below the name but the names of the bomb was blank and again I could not box them to set them up. What am I missing"

How complicated would you say the F-15E is as opposed to some of the others modules in the game? It looks like a VERY in-depth machine.
It's pretty much an A-10C with bolt on A-A.

Tpot did not track the moving target in BHT because the PTRK was still in WPT instead of BPT so it tracked the white pixels of the runway.

😅 Please excuse my silly question. But for someone like me who has never had a chance to try DCS, or the ability (as I dont own a pc) Is there like a super basic simple setup for Beginners in DCS? Some sort of mode where players can just jump in and have a go without knowing what all the different switches inside a cockpit does?
Yup, start with one of the beginner planes F-15C or Su-27, these are beginner-friendly start planes.

So im holding left shift and left alt and 2 or 3 or 4 to change it but nothing is happning someone got the same problem?
If you look at the changelog for the patch it mentions that one of the known issues is :"It is not possible to change the GBUs laser code with the kneeboard." Let's hope for some fixes in a patch soon.

Hey Cap, is there any reason why the A/G radar says “Blind Zone” whenever I try to generate the map and refuses to do anything?
theres a dead zone of the a/g radar in the middle of the plane, just offset the plane a few degrees to the left or right and you should be good

Just an idea, sure you're submerged with videos requests, wouldn't it be a fun idea to do some pvp missions or dynamic campaign where everyone uses the same jet? (Something like the MB339 or generic simple jets with only fox-2 capabilities and unguided CAS munitions).
I think it would all come down to the strategies of each team and highlight the pilot's abilities

why is none of this working for me. the commands to change the laser isnt changing nor is the ins aligning. wth
i have a problem and i dont know how to fix it or its a bug? when i go to ARMT i cant choose my GBU-12! and it doesnt show GBU-12, it only show 4 and i cant select it.
if you added the bombs on the ground you’ll have to manually add them into the system. so go to ARMT, A/G Load, then press step until you find the bombs you have on the pylons. select the bomb, then select which pylon you put it on. then when you go back into ARMT, you should see the bombs up top.
@Capachili I also have this problem but I only have a gbu24 on my stomach so do I do the samething or is it gonna be different
@@photonz634 same steps, just instead of picking gbu-12, you’d pick gbu-24 and only put it on your center pylon. also a little tip, if you put the bombs on in the mission editor, they’re automatically configured in the computer stuff

I followed all the steps and even with similar speed and altitude, I couldn't hit the target right on the mark. I feel like I'm doing something wrong here
It seems like the bombs are dropping long and failing to catch the laser early enough if you dive a little before dropping they will catch the laser.

If it's the artificial reef mission I have had the same experience. I've heard it's a bug because it's Still in early access but that was a while ago idk if they've fixed it yet

Why get in LGB range when you can loft/chuck a JDAM or.... SDB ... (also GPS guided) from further out than LGB range? Granted if you come in high you are SA-20 bait but LGB range is nuts - this assumes a SA 20 is defending. LGBs are passe' against US peer or near peer targets.
At the end you had 1/station selected.

I just got bomb dropping in the P-47 down to where I can hit a target half the time. Now this? lol you cannot go in more of an extreme in the other direction. And to scramble up the eggs in my head even more I have been trying to mix in the A-10C II bombing. Coolie switches, castle switches, 10 different SOI commands...good grief.
