In deed, In the book he is much more friendly and not AS COLD as P.J.wrongly showed him. He was a wise ruler, he and his people endured as the last elven kingdom, when all the others were destroyed. He fought many wars against sauron and the orks in the past. After the ring was gone, Thranduil and Celeborn healed the mirkwood forest and gave him his beauty back.

Back when men were men and elves were elves 😭
Celebrimbor should have looked more majestic and elegant than Thranduil! Damn you Amazon and Thank you to the uploader.
At least, like in the Shadow of war game :'(
crazy that celebrimbor looks older than galadolf when galadolf is older than him
i knew much that this face launched a thousand fanfics at first screening
Lee Pace really did homework to make Thranduil so memorable. Now I really need that live action scenes where the Mirkwood fought against Sauron's armies. Wish they could've made it into series at least, not by Amazon ofc
Bro i thought Legolas is the hottest elf until i saw his father🥵 Even Thranduil's wigs deserves oscar for that majestic acting!!!!
Bdw....i only know elves who are elegant, angelic looking and majestic and extraordinarily beautiful. And that excludes so called elves from RoP.
I had a crush on Lee ever since The Fall back in 2006.. that man is beautiful..
No other actors fit for the role of Thranduil but Lee Pace.
this man is such a great actor. Thranduil was done justice in a movie series that wasn't that great.
He's gorgeous
The sheer skill Lee Pace has as an actor is just beautiful to watch. If you saw his audition read tape for Thranduil, his voice alone portrayed the power of his character, the control he had, the strength of his experience, yet the pain of his loss.
Finally someone with divine taste 🍷
Brilliant casting. He embodies that cold ethereal beauty that I love about elves
Literally one of the hottest blonds I have ever seen and he’s not even a real blond. My life is a lie.
Seeing Thranduil in theaters back in 2012 altered my brain chemistry.
Lee Pace is not only a really great actor, he is very charming and has a lovely voice....
🤩🤩😍🥰💎💚💚💚💚💚
Lee Pace Nailed it.. Great cast for these movies Thranduil and Kili oh yes.. If a man looked at you the way they do!
As mere human, I simply cannot imagine living like the elves, after 2000 or 4000 years, waking up in the morning and thinking, yet another day to live, and there's shall be no end.
Us human, max is 100 years and we take most days for granted.
I don't remember who said it, but Thranduil IS an elvish superstar. Beautiful, capable and cocky/arogant 😅. Lee Pace was fantastic in the role.
perfect Tranduil cast❤
As awkward and hit-or-miss as the Hobbit films are, they absolutely nailed Lee Pace as Thranduil - in voice and appearance both.
I loved the hobbit movies. I enjoyed more then lotr
It literallt hurts me how beautiful Thrandy is
If only Rings of power had their elves like this...
Probably when the seasons progressed the hairs get longer. For now its short on purpose?
Lee Pace channeled Big Fae Energy for this role.
Definition of an elf.....a very hot one....
The scene with him revealing his true face is my favorite in the trilogy... Just a perfect character moment, highlighting him and thorin
Thorin, whos way in over his head and has not a clue what hes actually doing, hes just too stubborn to quit.
And thandriul who is clever cunning and ruthless, obviously he plans to use thorin to futher his own agenda, and he just lies the entire time.
I love how at 3:16 Thranduil is just like: Wtf is that? Is it spiders? I don't like spiders.
„I freed his wretched head from his miserable shoulders“ 😂
Thranduil is 🔥🌡
He’s so damn handsome. 😩
Lee Pace has such a great presence. Loving to see him in Foundation as Cleon.
Watching Foundation just for him
If it wasn't for him, these movies wouldn't have that much merit. They barely held their own.
Just these few scenes highlight how bad the ROP series is. Jackson's elves were so well done. Beautiful.
Yaaas! Thank you so much for leaving the dialog in. That voice just gives me chills. In a good way!
Eargasm.
I just wish the production was better 😭 he has such a powerful presence it’s sickening
I miss when elves looked like this he looked amazing like a other world king magical and powerful the elves in the Rings of Power look like fancy dress and worse
And weak
@@putrivina8303 yess
And multi racial
What a timing, just when I decided to rewatch the movies. Really appreciate it ^^!
5/10/2022 I will say it again, one more time. It has to be a sin, for someone to look this good.
this is the reason why i am in love with him.
What we didn't think we needed, but needed more than ever. 🥵
The best pictured elf 🥰
He would make a convincing Aegon Targaryan riding on Belarion The Black Dread scorching Harrenhal into slag.
I love the caption ..."because he's hot"😁😁💗
The Elven race was absolutely Perfect! ❤
This dude is Gorgeous 😍!!! Why can't they make more movies about the Evles??? Wanna see all of them super handsome king's and Prince's. Story of them coming to power.
Lee Pace told, it was such an easy role. Mostly sitting and watching. He must be glourius, to just watch like Thranduil.
Ahhhh you read my mind! I've been looking for this for weeks and someone (you!) did it!!
