Hey guys the device as Bluetooth built in. So ensure your phone Bluetooth is on and you allow the app to access it and you should see it pop up

Is there a way I can use this as a wifi extender for an existing network using a different router?
If I want to add a second one as a standalone as well Can I put both of them as a mesh network as standalone?

It does have captive portal features but it is only available with the gateway or always connected to a PC with the UniFi software running on it.
Could anyone do me a favor that I need the mdmp of uap-ac-m and uap-ac-lite to unbrick my devices?
great Video, how can I connect this device wirelessly? I initially connected this device to my router using a ethernet router but when I disconnect from the router, it does not work.
Hey usually you would need to have 2 or more of these device to create what we call a mesh network. This is where all devices are connected to one system and then whenever your disconnect one from the LAN connection and put it close enough to another wireless connection it will self-heal and adapt to the closest device wirelessly. I hope this helps

Ensure you have the UniFi connection to a network that as internet connection
Do you need a cloud key or any other ubiquiti product to use these AP’s? Ex. If I set it up with the mobile app or on PC can I then run it off of my netgear switch without needing anything else?
Yes, you can run it independent of a cloud key. You can set it up just the same way I did it in the video and add it to an existing Network.
after adopting it goes to isolate status can you help?
Ensure you are connected to router that’s gives ip and has internet

@@SuperTastyApple it will work if you have both of them on the same network and on the same controller as well. Then when you plug the other one at a different but close enough place to the main wired connected one you should have a wireless uplink in the controller.
Do they just power up on their own, or do they need an ethernet cord to be powered?
Hey they have to be powered by a Poe adapter

The unifi app its in the app store

Hey Christene no it doesn’t come with battery but it can be powered in a location that can see the Wi-Fi and repeat the signal without a direct connection to the primary router

Followed your exact steps. Mine won't connect or adopt. I've factory reset it dozens of times. Seems like a lemon.
Hey Marc sometimes you have to update the app to ensure it’s on the latest version and you can scan the QR code as well
@@olexiefennell I was only able to utilize the QR code to initiate adoption which failed every time. And confirmed the app is the latest release. Not sure what else to try.
