This. How the fuck has this slipped under the radar? They wanted them to do a review, they just didn't like that they weren't mindless puppets and reviewed the show fairly.
This stuff happens all the time. These companies abuse the fair use system and yet youtube do nothing.
Well I think more creators need to put pressure on CZcams, and on the companies responsible for the abuse. They will not just stop doing that on their own I don't think... Joe is going to war with CBS now. More people need to subscribe ideally. Even though Joe is too proud to actually tell people this, I think it will cost him a decent chunk of revenue as well as A LOT more time and stress.
We should make it worth his while to continue to fight them openly that way, and make content of it all for us despite the time it takes. I got a friend of mine to start paying the $5 as we agreed we'd both been watching this show almost a decade for free anyway.
I would ideally like to see many more game reviews as well as more movie stuff, so I chuck em a bone now and then :) Who knows if we all did he could double the size of the team and still not be out of pocket himself.

Alot of people arent willing to fight it either being small time, dont have the money whatever the reason and just go to patreon for revenue. Glad to see someone standing up to fight this shit. I wonder though, how our dear Joe Vargas will fare if he does actually go through with his threat of taking the Columbia Broadcasting System to court with regards to his fair use case here? Seeing how your ordinary joe will cream themselves if they even see $10,000 to their bank account, let alone $100k+, and our 'angry' Joe here, as successful as he is, doesn't exactly have the wealth of a small nation like the CBS does, EVEN with the backing and support of tens or even hundreds of thousands of supporters across CZcams, and I highly doubt they'll risk bankrupting themselves to see this through...

ho my god guys, were up to 251k view, making this version the second most viewed of the 4 version uploaded (v2 had 338k, v3 had 172k).

CZcams has announced changes to the claim system, now creators will only see that a video has been claimed, not whether it was ID'd or manually. They are calling this new feature "Protecting Our Creators (of corporate revenue)"

@@LoliLoveJuice As far as I know, only the revenue from his last upload, v4 I think, is/was going to CBS. And that version of the vid was removed by Joe, pretty sure it's not still up anyway. So all of those are removed views now anyway, so no one got the revenue. Also, the revenue isn't really the point, Joe is doing just fine with our without the revenue from this video. Realistically the channel will most likely get more traffic and attention than if CBS had done nothing. Which is morally and lawfully what they should have done.

It's BS that CBS is doing this. I am siding with Joe on this, he has every right to review the series. Reviews can be positive, or negative. And attacking reviews that are not favorable shows how petty and childish CBS is that they cannot accept any form of negative reviews on their steaming pile of crap.
