Best C8 option is the HTC if you wish to travel with luggage or if your weather changes quickly. Otherwise the coupes removable panel and storage in rear trunk works great. We spent weeks travelling in our C8 HTC and the sheer convenience of roof up or down at the push of a button while not disturbing our luggage - made the HTC option worth every dime. And now with the clear engine bay cover - my engine is visible too!
I would love to see your HTC with a glass view engine. With all the working parts of the hard top convertible I don't think it's any room back there for much of anything, especially a window view through more than 1 panel. I got to see a video of this to believe it. And just to let you know there are more Lamborghini's where I live than C8's. But I know 2 people that have C8's with removable tops.

@@cgarnerspeed252 I believe they also did the Mitsubishi 3000GT hard top in the 90’s. They got shipped over topless but with no it the hard top mechanism that was installed here by American Sunroof Company.
@@georgeporretta8659 good question, I searched and couldn’t find a definitive answer. My guess would be no as the XLR top reminds me more of the top on the Mercedes SL where it’s one huge piece that hinges and some side pieces where as the SSR and the Eclipse were more like three separate pieces.

American Sunroof Company pioneered mass market hard top convertibles of this style with the 2003 Chevy SSR and the low sales put them out of business.
