I played this game in 2020 and it still so incredible , I guess after 20 years people are gonna still love this game , so I request Ubisoft to please create a remastered version for this game or a remake of story instead of thinking about black flag 2.
great class system with the weapon, and one of the best fighting mechanic. not as simple as ASC 3 and 4. the best parkour mechanic. and story is solid, not amazing but great. the world and costume design is amazing.
After playing it again twice. It's really good. Even though the story is not as clear or direct, that feel really sets the emotion for the french revolution. I mean the french really struggled after the revolution trying to figure out what to do. It was rough, they had a second revolution it was bloody but it was as Notorious as the first one. The second one was in 1830. The whole idea of the te.plars being split of sages (which are special people that have a high civ Gene who are extreme (most cases) templar belief between a medicore one is interesting. I think the assassin back Louis the 16th I found it odd since him and Marie lavish on cake, brioché, wine, whoring, and parties. While ignoring his kingdom and creating famine widespread.

People Complaining about English accent in a french setting game don't realize that you can change language audio to French/Spanish and subtitles to English. They added that in AC4 and will probably add it again.

Ubisoft perfectly transfers the atmosphere, but time of Ubisoft is always right when consider that her talent is unique success for such genre you will not spoil it.
That looked amazing! The only concern I have is will the Co Op take away from the main campaign? Every Assassin's Creed game has had it's own protagonist that we could either love or hate. Agree or disagree with the characters decisions, etc. We develop our own emotions for the protagonist. Hopefully Assassin's Creed Unity will be the same! Are you all going to do like you did in Watch Dogs where in your game you look like the protagonist and your friends look like NPC's and in other peoples games you look like an NPC? But then Unity revealed its plot and era... oh well, I'm excited for this! Still need to buy an PS4. The trailer is cool and I love that song! And that Phantom Blade looks VERY promising~ And those smooth freerun moves~ (The only thing that makes me sad and nervous about it the French theme here, which reminds me of Aveline de Grandpré and Gérald Blanc... I was playing assassin creed revelation , just to see what had changed , ubisoft needs to bring back the old combat system , ac 3 and ac4 was more fluent , but the rest of games made it feel like u were truly fighting stabbing and cutting , these new assassins don't even perform the assassinations correctly , it just feels like ur slicing through air at times , the older games were so much more solid , this game looks good but I hope they did something about this
This looks AWESOME and its cool to see they are moving through history. I hope if there are other games they cover some more interesting times. Perhaps the American Civil War, and then maybe WWII (not WWI, that war had no real 'bad guy' it was a stupid military pissing contest), and maybe the Time of Troubles between the Irish and British (if you know your history, despite how violent it was, the Irish were like the assassins, fighting for freedom and to earn their country back)

i've always loved assassin's creed combat system more than any game for it's realism in movement and tricks and all that stuff (except for EA mma) but they shouldd move on and make a better one. for example : if you're cutting someone's throat he'll probably bleed to death, hit his leg and it's hard for him to move, hit both legs and he can't walk, hit a hand and it will be harder to fight and so on and so on... i believe that technology today can get us even much further than what i said.
i just want to make sure but is there a single player story campaign just like all the other assassins creed were based on??...btw from what im seeing so far it looks awesome

I get that Arno could have some back-story to explain away his English accent, but practically every Frenchman encountered sounds English. It's a little strange, considering they've done some really decent work with accents and voice acting in the past. Maybe they don't remember that AC1 was criticized slightly for the main protagonist sounding like an American. I guess they could be "hiding" the voice acting at this point so people will be surprised later, but I don't think hiding things really accomplishes anything in the area of sound. Also, how many times do you have to hit someone with a sword before they die? That's been a major annoyance that arose from AC3 and I can't figure out why it's stuck around. Sometimes too many "fancy" moves make the character look less efficient in combat and just more clunky.
