Le Mepris was my first Lux. Lucent lipstick by LE and the color goes very well with my skin tone which is medium/tan with neutral undertones. You are spot on with how amazing her lipstick formula is!! Using her products makes me feel so pampered 🥰

THANK YOU for the suggestion of using a Lucent over a Velvet! My lips have been SO dry so I haven't been wearing them and w that tip, it made them comfortable again without changing the color or consistency too much.

My top Lucent shade is Painterly - I love the just bitten, slightly berry look it gives my very fair skin. My next favourite is Spirited Away - such an easy to wear red, like I didn't even try, my lips are just beautifully naturally red. My third and last shade I have is Dance Card, quite light peachy pink, which stand out on my slightly cool skin so I wear it when I want the contrast.
Fabulous choices! Haha Dance Card is another one I am worried about being too light.

Merry Christmas Miriam! You couldn't be more correct in your assessment that everyone has their personal tastes. I am a medium neutral olive; about a shade and a half to 2 shades darker than you, and I adore La Mapris! Naturally I must wear it paired with a liner of a neutral color; like Charlotte's ironic nude, but it works for my skin tone, undertone, copper hair, and my signature smokey eye! I 🎉🎉personally prefer her velvet lipsticks, but she's yet to release something in a nude that isn't too warm pink for my taste. And like you, I often put a touch of a cream lipstick in the center of the lips over a matte formula lipstick. Her shades all have unique undertones and are beautifully formulated. Hahaha definitely a matter of personal taste. I could never get into the super light nudes. I appreciate them on others but not on myself.
Mariam you just changed my lipstick game. I have never thought about combining a velvet with a lucent! WOAH. I'm waiting for Meet me in Berlin to come back in stock. It really looks like the perfect 90's brown but Kitten Mischief (already have a back up) is my absolute favorite with Painterly being a close second, it's just glorious.
Try it and be amazed! It is easily one of my favourite tricks I have discovered this past year. I will probably need a back up with my next LE order haha.

Merry Christmas. You for sure enabled my Lisa Eldridge lipstick purchases. I have 2 lucent painterly and love of my life. Trying to determine if they dry my lips or if I reach for them when my lips are already dry because they are creamy formula so they’d are dry anyways. If it’s the later there may be more colors in my future. The glosses are super hydrating on my lips I almost finished the dancing rose shade.
Hmmm I have a hard time imagining they would dry your lips but the world is a strange place. I hope they are not the culprit!

The Lucents were a revelation after the Velvets kept drying my lips out (the Lucents do, too, after longer wear), but out of my collection, Meet Me In Berlin is my favorite, followed by Kitten Mischief and Painterly. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁

I have Kitten Mischief for half a year, and I have already bought another, the first one's nearly gone by now... 😁 That was my first product from Lisa Eldridge, (because of its name 😁) and still my favourite. On my list the second would be Rose Official, i use it as the cool toned version of kitten mischief, but it's a little bit dark for me.

Only lipsticks I wear..... Rose Official is my lips but better much more than Spirited Away that I used up a couple months ago... my everyday shade... Palazzo is my red... Love of my life is my spring/summer happy color... I have used up Painterly and bought Night Thoughts instead.... love it....
I have used up Kitten Mischief even is not most flattering color on me ...Meet me in Berlin is only one I gave it away...
Meet Me is definitely a vibe and not one that will suit everyone. I always thought Night Thoughts too dark. How does it look on you??

I am a LE fan. I think I have most of her lipsticks. Some get worn more, some less. But I have pretty much given up on buying other lipsticks. The lip liners are great too. Thanks for sharing your perspective.
I love Lisa so much! Same, I don't have them all but let's say a rather decent amount and they are without a doubt the lipsticks that I use the most in the past 1.5 year.
Very nice collection and video! I struggle with Lisa’s colors. They tend to look too warm on me. For example Palazzo didn’t suit me. It looked amazing on my daughter so I gave it to her. My favorite in this formula is Painterly. All cream lipsticks bleed on me. These are no exception. My favorite Lisa formula is the insanely saturated. This lucent formula is just ok for my taste. But as you said its a matter of preference. I also love her liquid lipstick but somehow I messed up my order and ended up with 2 of Muse. Not the color I wanted 🤦🏻♀️.
Ah that’s a bummer. Even something like Sorcery or Love Of My Life?? They seem rather suited for cooler undertones of skin.
@@mariam.a. I don’t have those lipsticks. I have sorcery liner and it’s warm on me but I can wear it. I think the lipstick is cooler from what people say. I may pick it up when she restocks her cleanser. Love the cleanser.

Haha no you are not! I am the odd one here.
Y top 3 are the 3 that I have (Le Mépris, Kitten Mischief, Meet Me in Berlin) and I love them so much I haven’t felt the need to get other shades. Le Mépris is a touch too light for me, but when I wear a full face of makeup it transforms into a perfect nude that balances the whole look. Kitten Mischief is my perfect nude that goes with everything, with or without makeup. Meet Me in Berlin is exactly the well balanced brown lip color that I would have liked to have back in the 90’s, so I get to have it now.

What a treat to have this video on Christmas day!! Merry Christmas, Mariam 🎄❤ Spirited Away and Painterly are probably my faves, and I love Kitten Mischief as an everyday nude in the summer! Dance Card and JNSQ are also big hits for me in the summer!! Rose Official is obvs a very me colour and get quite a bit of wear too. I also rediscovered Love Of My Life during the Barbie frenzy this year, otherwise it's too blue toned for my preference. I really need to wear Meet Me In Berlin as I think I've only tried it once and I've had it for like a year now 😬

Regarding the shade Atomic Cherry, I’ve noticed that effect you mentioned of emphasizing lip flakes also with bright, usually white-based or neon type shades across different brands.
The most natural MLBB shade on me is Painterly, so it’s my favorite, but Kitten Mischief is my second most used shade. Sigh, I’ve been waiting months for Meet Me in Berlin to come back in stock. Denied.

Great video, I just purchased my first Lisa Eldridge products. I chose Velvet Cinnabar, Dragon and Blush and picked up Palazzo to try out that formula. I just recently got my first LL from Lisa, and it is the lipstick that lives in my purse. Before I got (Love of My Life), it was the Pat McGrath a divinyl, which honestly I should get rid of because it's almost gone and a mess...I need more Lisa Lux lucents! And I agree. pat and Lisa both have a way with color artistry that is unsurpassed. 😊💋💞🎄🎉🎉🎉
