I almost bought Bloom as well, but I have a cheaper version of it (at least it looks like it in the pics) - l’oreal le rose activist. I love Lisa’s formula and I bet that Bloom has some sort of a unique undertone that cannot be found in any lipstick on the market, but it would be nice if someone would compare the two 😅
I personally don’t have it but I am sure similar lipsticks exist out there.

Oh, I'm so excited to see it on you!! I should receive mine tomorrow - I'm obsessed with her formula and couldn't resist a new shade 😁 I'm also so so happy she's in Selfridges now, it's actually cheaper for me to order now. When I ordered from the UK site I'm always hit with duties, Selfridges adds tax at checkout so no surprises 🙃

Oh she is?? Someone mentioned liquid lipstick which is good and bad. I am safe because I hate liquid lipsticks but I am sad to miss a whole new Lisa launch.
@@mariam.a. Lisa doesnt strike me as a liquid lipstick person, i would more likely expect a lip tint version maybe korean style. i have no idea i am just guessing but i am not safe from any Lisa Eldridge launch 😂

Btw…I have all of Lisa lipsticks…I am collecting…but I also use them. The reds are gorgeous…but the nudes are generally my go tos. Bloom is perfection!
I use them all but I have to say, when I wear Ribbon…I feel like a queen!

As pretty as Velvet Bloom is, it's not the kind of shade I wear so I did not pick it up - in fact I don't think I've purchased anything from Lisa so far this year 😱 it makes a huge difference from the past two years where most of my money seemed to go to Lisa 😅

Good one! I thought about it while filming but then I forgot to take it out of the drawer. I don’t think they are too similar. For one, Bloom is a lot more red.
Blush and Muse are my absolute favorite lipsticks - and now I have a sore need of Painterly. 😭

I received mine yesterday and wore it today. It’s probably the most flattering color on me of all her lipsticks. Her colors tend a little warm for me. This one was perfect. I mean Velvet Bloom, ha ha.
I have painterly and it looks nothing like velvet blush on my lips. I think it depends on your nature lip color. My lips are very cool tone pink (when they’re not straight up blue).
I don’t like the lucent formula very much. It too slick for my lips and doesn’t want to lay down. I prefer Lisa’s two matte formulas.
You mist have very different undertones to me then. Not very handy to judge how a lipstick will look on you 😅.

How funny my staple ones are muse (I'm using my 2nd one) and painterly, and you had so many shades but not these ones? Im always jealous of your beautiful, impactful lipsticks, but I'm more of a neutral/red lip! :)
Wow!! Second one?? I can see myself repurchasing a lucent and perhaps Ribbon at some point because I am going at it but the rest…unlikely unless they go bad.
@@mariam.a. Oh muse and painterly are my go-to shades, and muse is the first i got and easiest to use of all my velvets so yeah. I'm down to a tiny nub, should be over in a week or so, then I'm introducing the backup!
