You are so great about really using your purchases! It’s one of my favorite things about your content. Not many new releases speak to me anymore because I do enjoy using my stash! I get excited about foundations and concealers because I go through them, but I also tend to stick with what has been working. I’ve seen great reviews of the Prada foundation.
I am actually super slow with concealers and foundations so after the Chanel and Prada extravaganza I am good for another few years 🤣.
Thank goodness for the concealer chat. You got me on that Dior and if I had to go and look for another concealer again I'd be devastated.

I clutched my pearls a little, when you said you don’t like berry lipsticks, because they are my favorite! 😆 we have such different coloring, though, and warm terracotta colors are your jam. I am very pink and fair, and I gravitate towards jewel tones. I love trying new things, so my makeup collection is out of control, but I applaud your restraint and ability to use up what you buy! That will just never be me, I’m a consumer and hoarder!
Haha absolutely if you have cooler tones other colours would suit you more.
Oh I buy my fair share but I try to keep it manageable for my own sanity. 😂

I would say better to go for the Dior one first given the price. Right! So grateful to the lady who shared this tip.

I really enjoy this kind of videos and you dobgreat in using up products. When you talked about your favs it really came to my mind that you have a very thoughtful currated collection. I do admire this 🥰
I highly recommend the Little Black Primer, it is very good!
I find throwing away anything that isn't at the very least well-loved really hard so I try to use up as much as I can while remaining honest about the fact that I am still creating waste because I have more than I could possibly use up. It's hard to find a good balance.
@@mariam.a. I do try to use up my products too. I'm always excited when I hit pan or use up something. I spent money on my extensive collection so I try to rotate to all my stuff and be more thoughtful when I bring something new to it.
@@verenaweisz1713 excatly. It is hard because we all really love makeup here but I rotate a lot too. And I am always thrilled when I hit pan on a product that is hard to pan...like the OG Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel. I was ecstatic to see the pan.
I'm tired of the false lashes so I just ordered the lash serum and mascara. I hope it works for me the way it did for you, your lashes are beautiful. I picked up the Chanel Eclat De Nuit thanks to you and I love it. I have not taken the leap to Prada yet. 😊
I hope the lash serum works for you but keep in mind it takes a good few months of regular use to see results.
Little black Primer really is a gem - i liked it a lot on its own too bc it looks just like you have naturally lifted enhanced lashes. And longwear. Maybe not great for very sensitive eyes..
Yes absolutely even on its own it gives body to the lashes.
Went back to check my Prada quad. I got the same one because I love brown with pop of blue. I got the refill late in the Sephora sale because the one with the packaging was sold out. It is not magnetic…I thought it would be. But I have the magnets that came with my magnetic palettes and I attached it and it works great. I have pretty Salt New York palettes that I use for travel and this fits great. I probably will get mother one with the packaging but happy I got the one I got.
Ahhh not magentic! Good to know! Luckily easy to solve!
In case it helps: Prada's customer service says you can use the refills of the lipstick without the outer packaging. (I asked about the soft matte.). You don't get the whole experience (quote), but you save ten quid (not a quote 😂). Best wishes all round 👋
Oh yes absolutely, they are fully functional without the whole outside component.
I could take or leave setting sprays until I found… MAC Fix + Stay Over. It definitely makes my makeup last longer and it has no alcohol in the formula (like many/most that prolong makeup do) so it never dries out my skin. I love it so much!
I have the Hermes bronzer in Atlas and I love it. It really is blurring. But lately I can’t stop using my RMS bronzer in Tan Lines. But, I’ve never tried a Hermes blush. Did you say the shade is a cinnamon peach? Wow! I love that! I might have to put it on my wish list with the Hermes satin lipstick!
OOOooooo I didn't know MAC had this spray, thank you!!! I will definitely try it later on when I am about to pan the current ones I own...which let's face it won't be anytime soon lol.
Yes the Hermes blush is a gorgeous tan colour, I have a weakness for that kind of blush shade. The satin lipsticks are so good. I think Rouge Vigne might be up there in my current top 3 favourite lipsticks.
Always interested in what you have to say about makeup. I am particularly happy with the comparison of the two concealers, I have been thinking of trying Chanel. But the price is staggering. Maybe Dior will get my money... although I would like the peachier shade, I think. I am dying to try the single eyeshadows from Chanel. 😅
I will be totally honest with those single eyeshadows seem so underwhelming to me for some reason. The Dior singles had me much more excited!
Wow, for about the duraline - I think I kind of was figuring this out bc I just used duraline to renew mascara that seemed to dry up too fast - some expensive massacres that should have lasted a bit longer, imo,- but the duraline actually made it more durable too - and still easy to take off, though I use a oil during my double cleanse anyway -

I actually like to spray the setting spay on my makeup and then also use a sponge for setting highlighter. The CT one is really superior but the scent is strong for those who care.
I have not tried either of those concealers. Everything creases on me and I need coverage for dark under eyes.
Query: does the sublimage have skin care in it. I thought it had their camellia formula. It would be interesting to see if it helped your under eye if using it regularly.
I can smell it indeed but thank goodness does not bother me and I don't find it too strong.
Yes Sublimage is indeed meant to be skin care/makeup...not sure about the camelia formula. I am not sure I would be able to tell the effect since I also use heavy under eye creams AND the Auric glow lust which has squalene. Basically I put a ton of skin care on y under eyes with a bit of a tint haha.
I really want to try the sublimage corrector, never really saw myself as a Chanel makeup person, but I was blown away by the water tint and baume essential highlighter. The only product I like from Dior is the lip oil, but I’m willing to experiment 😂.
I have actually had good experiences with Dior makeup so I do recommend trying their makeup line.
Dear Mariam,(sorry - long comment). That is a beoootiful bag! And I love that lipstick on you. You are really selling that Prada lipstick formula to me. I don't need a new lipstick, but you make it sound so intriguing 😊. I'll have to choose the colour in a real shop, though, which should help postpone the purchase 😊. I've been watching you a while, but don't remember you mentioning the Estée Lauder lash primer. I am absolutely with you on the water bottle (or a small thermos flask of tea 🫖 that's what flows through my British veins). And my toptip for Mums is always to carry a packet of tissues.

I know I am IN LOVE with the bag. I never show the little black primer but I use it daily. I had done some mascara/staple makeup videos in the past where I have shown it but perhaps I need to update that. I think I have an entire video on it and how I use it.
