- In today's adventure, I decided to go lone wolf on Bitterroot in DayZ. The journey consisted of highs and lows as I fought the elements and other survivors on my journey to the map's most dangerous locations in search of the strongest weapons.

I love soloing. Living off the land and finding a snipe. Maybe helping a dude or setting a house fire trap. Been alive for weeks before, ducking and diving. Nice video
Yea, solo is a fun way to play, it's how I play 99% of the time since I live in such a different time zone from my buddies back home, I do love the occasional random team up in game too though!
Soloing is honestly the best, especially when you meet strangers, just creates a whole vibe
I watch you run through these maps and come across all sorts of good gear. When I go through the tier 3 and tier 4 towns, I barely get old ratty, clothing, broken guns, and almost no tools. I have yet after three weeks to even find a decent rifle, AK, or M4.
It definitely is hard to find gear sometimes in this game, especially when someone has looted an area right before you!! Since the videos feature the best runs and highlights, the times where I loot around and find absolutely no gear and action are naturally not really included, but trust me, I have those moments when I play too! What map have you been playing?
Dude your so underrated your content is , if not better than all these mainstream CZcamsrs playing modded ass dayz , I’ve always loved vanilla so it’s very nice to see some unique dayz vanilla content especially from a new content creator that has such a chill game style appreciate you man I know your gonna blow up 🙏

Modded day z doesn’t make pvp easier just saying
@@georgestem2039 Dudes who play a lot and know exactly where to go and in what order for food, water, and the most valuable loot have an advantage, obviously. Modded servers that provide more loot amplify that advantage. Combined with their greater skill level in picking out distant/obscured players, and in simply manipulating objects and making shots, and the gap is really wide. So while it may not be "easier" it is certainly less likely to get capped by someone of lower skill level.

My kind of play. I also do solo most of the time. I have a couple friends who work with me on occasion. But thrive from wipe to wipe.
Nice! I enjoy the solo playstyle, but the occasional team up also keeps things fresh!
The trick is not to look for trouble but to look out for trouble.

11:20 -- RE: Splints; Full disclosure, I've been playing DayZ about a year now and if there's one thing I put on my little "bug out bag" inventory must-have list, it's 5 slots in my jacket for a stack of short sticks ready to go for either a quick fire, and/or a splint. Mind you, it's taken me ages on some lives to find bandages anyway, so a stack of rags is usually in there too, along with duct tape, etcetera. I'm not sure which one is worst of all in terms of security blankets: it's a toss up between a leather kit and a pristine hatchet. But I'd toss either of those before I'd surrender the 5 slots the short sticks get. (The hatchet can fit in my hands.)
It's always nice to have supplies to deal with any situation! I haven't thought about carrying sticks around, but they definitely would've been useful for making a splint right away 🤣

Thank you so much and welcome! I'm also a huge Tarkov fan! I'd say this game is similar to Tarkov in the sense that it doesn't really teach you much and is very difficult at first! But once you learn, it's a lot of fun 👍 I haven't thought about a tutorial type video yet, but it could be fun. How much time u need for play dayz
@danielecetarini472 It's definitely a game that requires a lot of time, it can take hours just to go from one end of the map to the other. This video was probably like 4 to 5 hours of footage before it was cut down to 20 minutes! I'd say to enjoy the game, you probably need to play for 2-3 hours at a time!

I’ve been going solo on offical was alive for a week and killed 32 people was as geared as u can get and then died to a hacker while inside my base I stole. Happend the next life after aswell

The BK-18 has been the weapon I've gotten the most early game kills with I think! Land a nice chest shot and you can down most people 👍👍

Love your content! Would you mind sharing how you edited your video where your camera panned into your character as you spawned? Just learned about dayz editor mod today and was hoping to start making my own dayz videos haha, thanks, keep up the great work!

I'm no expert with the DayZ editor mod myself, but for that shot I basically just went back to my VOD to check my survivor and clothing, created a new character in the editor with the same exact model/clothing, and iust placed the character in the location I spawned at before doing some basic camera movement! 👍👍 Hope that helps!

This looks similar to RUST on PC. The only problem with Rust is there's a lot of 1diots in the game that will attack you for no reason.
I've heard that it's similar! I think in rust there's more base building and stuff. There are lots of people that just KOS and have no mic in DayZ too! Moreso on official servers in my experience

Thank you!! Yeah, the advantage of seeing someone else first is insane in this game since landing one shot usually means a kill or knockout once you have good weapons! I should've been more careful around the air force base even though it was dark
@@scholarcormier Sooner or later you always die. I prefer to die from a player, instead of the environment. Because I feel stupid when I die from environment causes.
Good videos buy your microphone is a bit too loud compared to gameplay volume. Its a bit too crispy if that makes sense.
I think I know exactly what you mean!! I changed some settings around and think I fixed the cripsy/static-ness, I'm not sure about the volume though, I'm still learning a lot on the audio side of things! Let me know what you think if you check the latest vid 👍

Hmm, it definitely changes with each playtest, last playtest I was finding everything at Faith's Gate, but this time the new bases Bishop Outpost and Fort Hale have the best stuff like m4s, plate carriers, and NVGs. If you're looking to get some good loot that's a bit less contested, you should be able to walk out of Black Rock Air Station with an AK47 or m16 and some mags!

This video was on a custom map called Bitterroot, it's very lightly modded and plays like vanilla, but there is an added sniper rifle and some added clothing/food/drink to match the American location!

Welcome to DayZ! This map is called Bitterroot, it's currently still in development, so it's currently only available for limited playtest periods every now and then! I think the next test will be sometime in March, and they usually last a week or two, however custom maps like this are only available on PC, so if you're playing on console it won't be available

@@scholarcormier I play dayz on console and got like 14k hours on it and there’s a leader board and im second place with the most kills on community and there’s like 3 million people im proud tbf 😂 I first played it on pc and that’s how I got into it
@brandonknight5718 Wow! That's a crazy amount of hours! And I've never heard of a kill leaderboard in DayZ, that's pretty cool! I'm at about 300 hours on steam now, and I'm probably not even at 100 kills total yet haha 🤣
