OK is a point of view. See I have nothing against autogyros, but all advantages and disadvantages are very similar, so just making different machines, no better nor worse. Everything depends on the demand or the criterion, in my case, I find the "real Vtol" a great advantage ... but as I said, depends on demand. But thank you for exposing your point of view.
ExistenciaBacana said he can't find the advantage of a gyroplane over a helicopter. Here are a few: 1. Lower acquisition cost 2. Lower operating costs 3. Easier to operate, especially in a loss-of-power situation--the gyroplane is always in "autorotation", which lowers the pilot work load 4. Some gyroplanes are capable of a "jump take-off" (See the 18-A). Unless the ability to hover is absolutely necessary to complete the mission, the gyroplane offers a safe and capable alternative.
This is, in my opinion, the "best good looking gyro" of all but, shame it will cost "two arms and one leg" for it, they know it is nice, that's why they've put the price so high, the rich people are going to buy it, us others are just going to kick the tyres and dream aboult it... cest la vie
A R22 cost ~300 000$... A gyro is not for the same usage (use like a advanced STOL aircraft not like a heli) and is MUCH SAFER in heawy turbulences (it's the safest from all lights aircrafts in heawy conditions)...But i think this ArrowCopter is a error in concept, because too heawy to enter in the european ultralight rules (450kg max take off)... and more weight= more power to fly=more consumption...
@sahandsesoot Thanks for the info. I should have known...Vanglis are great. Do you know the title of the song? They have so many songs, it will be difficult for me to find. Btw, check out their song titled "Alpha"; it rocks!
I believe that while it is sold as an experimental cost is low ... on the other side to be approved commercially costs increase ... imagine the cost of putting an engine like the Lycoming Robinson? I'm still not convinced ... sorry.
It is beautiful no doubt, but what real advantage over a helicopter? Compared with a R-22, have the same power, the same capacity, the same speed ... and R-22 is a helicopter can take off vertically and hover. So what's the advantage? Beauty?
Nice looking aeroplane, even when hooded!
Very nice gyro!!!

Superbeutiful machine, i would love to fly it someday
Great job.

nicht übel. Konkurrenz belebt das Geschäft. Was wird der wohl kosten?
